There is no impossibilities in the case of South Sudan. A nation to be viable just needs three things; Land, water and people. There are even some countries in the world without abundant water but they are still viable. Equatoria alone can have three countries. There is enough resource for the people in that part of region to survive. Just have a look at Gambia, Gabo, Sao Tome etc.
