December 8, 2010 (BENTIU)-The Government of Southern Sudan (GOSS) Minister of Animal Resource and Fisheries, Nyalok Tiong, visited Unity state to inspect the state ministry in its work in the fishing industry and animals husbandry.

Tiong said that she wanted to see the implementation of fishing projects in Manga, Adok and other places in Unity state.

Tiong said it is important to raise southern Sudan’s domestic production, adding that most animals die in Unity state due to owner negligence.

She said the state ministry of Animals Resource and Fisheries and GOSS will join hands to improve the health of the domestic’s animals in the south Sudan.

Tiong said, “our people in the south are ignorant of their animals fallen sick”, adding that they need to be equipped with the capacity to solve these problems and explaining that they were training more veterinarian specialists in the various ten states of southern Sudan to catch up with animals contracting diseases all over the country.

State Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries Samuel Lony Geng told Sudan Tribune on Tuesday that he welcomed the visited of the GOSS minister. He urged the Minister to assist them in opening animal clinics in the nine counties of Unity state.

Geng said, they trained six staff two months ago to cover livestock health in the state, adding that he appreciated the role played by GOSS in facilitating training of staffs.

    Good beginning for minister

Absolutely, I like the minister her initiative to toure all states of Souther Sudan in behave of dear life like us (aninals) department to monitor weather proper work conduct has been applied. It is a time for every top departments in Government of Souther Sudan to begin seeking managements have carried out significantly within the whole department. Let us support them with better understanding the importance of taking responsibilities of our owner wealthy, we cannot at all be called nation without care for belove one. Our daily lives heavily depend on these fellow animals like us. If it happens they are getting sick, other wild predators take their number down, and devastate circumstance occur on them such as unvailability of water special none-water inhabitant species, and their suffering also will have huge negiative impact to the people who share the area with them.
The minsiter her top prority was to examine the fish industry exploiting or mining the fish. This is very crucial for state residents because over fishing and over polluted the water body has a seriou negiative significant on those water life dueling as well as land dueling, and such actions need to addressed and prevent catastrophic result in near future or before it becomes too late.
Friends, disase often takes cycle path, it may originate from bird, fish, and other animals and then end up on top food chain pyramid element science illustrates that point. As we may be aware human is among occupied animals who capture the top food chain. Friends labor division always arrange for accomplishing the objective goals of certain assignments for each department. I believe there are people who focus on borders issues, so we should not stop every minister to take on his/her duty because of borders. All departments in the government of souther sudan should articulate only the borders what about other necessaries duty for the people of Souther Sudan? Surely, I recognize the borders problems; however, it should be addressed by the people who were assigned on the border case. It should be carried out by appointee individuals within department otherwise conflict of interest will arise if we expect everybody to take a role.
And thanks guys you are so great in articulating your view points and I really enjoy talking to you and have a great holiday.
Dak Thong Chol, from Keanrey Nebraska U.S.A.
