How about getting true professional journalist to actually write articles instead of copying and pasting reports from other sources and editing it to suite your agenda. You want to be a true independent source of information and news, let people comment even if it does contradict your separatist ideas. Stop blocking people because of their political, ethnic or religious background. Instead try to block all racist and slander comments to any religion, faith or race. NOT JUST YOURS.

Otherwise this website will continue to be nothing more then where disgruntled, racist separatist come to insult and abuse people on the other side of the divide.

P.S You can stop blocking my IP address thank you.

As life is always in dynamic learning process, I would say that the only school given free class for millions of Sudanese and regional community who are deprived even from the ordinary speech is Sudan Tribune and only Sudan Tribune.

In fact we learn much from good and bad comments as well. We aslo learn language as well as style wisdom from all comment participants and we are still learning. May God Bless those who are running it.

IT to create rejection system for any bad words in the comment section – it is too much!. So that when the person had written “Foolish Dinka or Nuer” the word “foolish” would get zapped out leaving only “Dinka or Nuer” looking “[] dinka, [] Nuer”

The sudan tribune staff have done a great job of updating the website on daily basis and keeping their readers about events in Sudan and elsewhere.

However, the main improvement that needs to be made to the website is on the comment section. The comment section is abused by few people to express their hatreds of certain tribes or individuals. This can be minimized by setting ground rules before anybody comments. For instance, “No foul/indecent language allowed and no personal attacks.”

Alternatively those who don’t adhere to the rules or use inappropriate language could have their comments removed or not published after vetting. Others may be blocked for sometimes before they are allowed back after warning. All these measures will reduce the vitriol that is spewed out in the comment section here everyday.

I praise the objective and professional methodology of Sudan tribune staff and, swift updating on the news and incidents occur continuously in our country, but in section of comment, it remarkable some comrades tends to personal insult rather than making constructive, lucrative comments, this offending attitude my effect he impartiality of the site ,and should be condemned and immediately redressed, let them also know Sudan tribune is a tribune where all the Sudanese can express their point of view freely based on mutual respect not on the egoism, tribalism regionalist tendency shown by some collogues,,

Some readers find it difficult to log in because of the long complex pass words given by Sudan Tribune.

Next,it will be of great importance if those writers who write false information could be screened(moderated) before publishing their articles. However, this may not be possible(effective) given some of the staff side with wrong writers against good ones.

Through my Sudan tribune experience,i have seen such false writers like Osheya, flora Deng, except Justin Ambago( had confessed in a professional tactic(now days writing reasonable articles)-just to mention but a few, have disappeared on the net.

If it is possible, Sudan tribune can introduce the like and dislike button with thumbs up and thumbs down. Any comment that has received a certain number of thumbs down can be hidden from view and later removed like that of Youtube.com where they hide offensive comments and delete them after they have been flagged down as disliked a certain number of times.

It is remarkable that Sudan tribune focus very much on politics and political events, but why not the Web consider adding other issues such as entertainment, music, sport to make the esteemed WEB site more appealing and attractive to the readers. Furthermore; Sudan tribune needs to have more field Journalists inside Sudan especially in conflict -stricken areas such as Darfur, Nuba Mountain, South Sudan, eastern Sudan, central Sudan and even further north to elaborate it’s live coverage on events taking place in Sudan and not concentrating on taking information from other media channels .finally you are doing a very super job but always be aspirant to be the best ever.
