US, France & UK “underneath my shoes” says Sudan president

November 6, 2008 (KHARTOUM) – The Sudanese president Omer Hassan Al-Bashir lashed out at Western countries and accused them of trying to topple his regime during the last 20 years.

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir greets his supporters in Darfur’s capital of al-Fasher, Sudan, Wednesday, July 23, 2008 (AP)

“We will not be broken and we will not kneel or be driven because they will not prolong our life or reduce our term in office” Al-Bashir told a rally in Eastern Sudan.

“Money and ruling is not in the hands of US, France & UK. They are all underneath my shoes” he said angrily.

Al-Bashir also told his people not to worry about a pending arrest warrant against him by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

In mid-July the ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo announced that he is seeking an arrest warrant for Al-Bashir.

The ICC’s prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo filed 10 charges: three counts of genocide, five of crimes against humanity and two of murder. In early October ICC judges have officially started reviewing the case in a process that could possibly drag on to next year.

“Do not worry too much about what Ocampo says. He is too weak to do anything because his decisions are made by his masters in US, France & UK” Al-Bashir said.

The embattled president challenged any country to confront them and vowed to defeat them.

“Whoever wants to fight us can go ahead and lick his elbow” Al-Bashir said.

The strong statements by Al-Bashir may signal his frustration with his envoys failure to convince these countries to suspend the ICC move against him. Khartoum has dispatched numerous envoys to rally world countries behind them.

The African Union, Arab League, Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) called for invoking Article 16 which allows the UN Security Council (UNSC) to suspend the ICC prosecutions in any case for a period of 12 months that can be renewed indefinitely.

But Sudan’s allies in the UNSC including China did not introduce a resolution following suggestions by the US and to a lesser extent France that they will use their veto power to block a deferral.

Hell to Bashir!! I can’t wait to see this fool in hell that he put this beautiful nation of ours in. He’s just a lunatic celebrating his own hellish future. He must be out of his mine to even imagine US, UK, and France under his stinky shoe! And should that glorious day come for this meniac, I woud suggest Guantanimo for this animal to meet some of his gangs. I see someone questioning the work of Al Bashir advisers, Sadam Hussin has better advises. Oooup! my bad!! I forgot that Sadam is already roasting in hell.

It sounds to me like a gang leader addressing his fellow members. What an embarrassment for such a great nation like Sudan to be ruled by such a crazy individual. Who can really believe that US, UK, and France are all under his shoes. I cried for my beloved country called Sudan for such a shame.

He is indeed an abnormal dictator.
I can’t believe my country name being referred to as Sudan president.

I wish i was a journalist to convey this message from Al bashir to US,France and UK.
They must know the hardship we are facing under these animals like Al bashir.

    Hello Guys!

Guess what? I think Al Bashir is really trying to show his frustration to the world. Imagine if China can not make resolution, where will Al Bashir survive? That is why, I had always reminded my fellow Sudanese that, NCP tenure in Sudan is 100% relies on strong ally China. With the recent development where they kill Chinese in the name of JEM to draw world attention, they had failed in ther Cat-rat game they have been palying all these years.

Now the truth is nearing, with elections at stake Al Bashir is dame and finished. If not because we need independence, I would prefer Kiir standing for the Presidency to kick-out this monster but noway, Kiir should concentrate on referendum trip.

I’m convinced that one day, Bashir will join his master Sadam. To hell with his barking! We remain Southern Sudanese and that is our pride.

Go to hell Bashir or rocket US, France or UK one day and see how the neuclar weapon of mass destruction will rally.

Have you forgotten Russia Vs Georgia. Russia displayed 8 gunships but Russia displayed 1000 gunships. What will you display Bashir? You are kidding!

I will be waiting for the glorious day of your arrest!!!

May God make the ICC decide before the elections in 2009

I don’t understand the work of the presidential advisers in our country, because such press burst by our president is an insult to our foreign diplomacy to either party in the country due to the fact that the advisers chosen to the president are from all Sudanese parties. The president press indicates his advisers are doing nothing in their office whether NCP, SPLA or the rest from different Sudanese parties .I would like to blame first NCP especially Ali Nafi the adviser of the president for not guiding his boss to the right diplomatic speech and the rest of advisers follow him. The failure of the president in most to me means the failure of his advisers and the Sudanese diplomacy.

It is unfortunate that this idiot (Al Bashier) does not realise his reckless utterances could completely destroy him. Only lunatics like him would blindly stick to dogmatic ideaologies heading nowhere at all...If he has forgotten the recent past, he may as well go ahead and ask Sadam Hussein in his grave...

Bashier needs advise on how to go about sensitive issues pragmatically rather than living in the world of illusion.

Have you started the nuclear energy plant now? Good luck with you plans Mr President but be careful lest you don’t regret your foolish actions.

El Beshir is kicking the last kick of the dying female horse. It is too late. America got a president, Ocampo has a pending case with you, South Sudan has an election with you, other northern political parties are waiting for the victory of SPLM during the elections.
Ye who thirsts for peace, come to sudan without Beshir and you will drink to satisfaction.

        Bashir is simply- AmAzInG!!

Honestly sudan is militarily nothing compared to America, Uk and France. But UK, France and America are as insignificant as a grain of sand in a dessert compared to God!

Yes we are small, but so was king David when he slayed Goliath! So was el Mahdi when he beat General Gordon and so forth!

Also someone PLEASE tell me why do u continue to threaten North Sudan with "seperation"?
We managed to get the oil out against america, if u love america so much don’t take the profits!
And u don’t have a port or any infrastructure due to reasons which u are all aware of!!

Now honestly, I have nothing against southerners but love as at the end life is but a dream and u die and ones actions are what people remember when u leave this world!
So stop, think of why usa wants el bashier!!

Is it the 300 thousand dead in dar fur? No ! As 6million dies in Congo were is their help?
Is it a humanitarian issue, said by a people whom enslaved my african brothes 400yrs and now think its ok because barack is president?

I am so allergic to your BS that I might sneeze myself to oblivion!

Perhaps because sudans GDP is improving although we have sanctions or that we are making money without usa that some are hating?
We bow down to NO one! Comprehend that if usa continues to act like this then yes it is under his foot, implying we are not above them in morals but so is our shoe!
If u fail to understand what I’m saying, its too late your a lost cause!!

Only reply if u will with logic and facts not opinion!
PS: Sudan Tribune is doing a good job, thus please give me a reputable answer people!! Love love xx.

Montana you are liable about militarily in Sudan just make comparison between Iraq and Sudan during Saddam Husein period and Iraq was most powerful in middle east live that poor country Sudan.

There are three thing that does not make any integrity for human being to cares on his/her shuolder such as [policy, business, religion]they are=terrorism and evilism if you eliminate them,so for muslim brothers it better to knock one out and lelf two,to make stability in islamic countries.

So you are just hopeless and toothless as your master Bashir.

it is a pitty that the likes of moe, who well know of the trauma and brutal suffering they’ve caused all population of the sudan are not at all ashamed of their barbarism. moe you are proud of extracting oil from southern sudan but that’s not a thing to be proud of because: 1. it does not equally benefit the entire sudanese populace as it should. tell me how many sudanese nationals are begging in the streets of khartoum yet you talk high of your military might. does the god you guys believe in exist? if he does, then he must send all of you hell because you don’t live upto godly standards; 2. it is a stolen wealth with the help of chinese, your half-blind frinds who blindly keep supporting a failed and power hungry regime. the blood of innocent people will haunt you guys even in your graves. you must advise your blind brothers in the North to accept change as the world is not static.

Dear Mr. Brutal president, let us not point fingers to other countries when we are guilty, why don’t you face the ICC and proof yourself in the court that you are innocent. this political mustarbation will never relief you from this trend. i believe the people of the country i love must will never listen to what you are saying, but to see you in the court will be the only solution to new sudan, that will engulf all the sudanese including the Western, East, North and South sudan. just accept to face the ICC, don’t bring us that shame happen in Iraq, when the late Saddam was over confident of overcoming the West, then at longlast he surrender himself. you are the next culprit.
