Sudan Airways to operate direct summer flights to Oman

April 22, 2007 (MUSCAT) — Sudanese national carrier Sudan Airways will launch direct flights from the capital of Oman Muscat, to Khartoum during the summer, The Times of Oman reported today.

Sudan Airways would be operating once weekly flight starting from May 31 to August 31 on an Airbus 300 with a seating capacity of 26 First Class and 241 economy class seats.

The flight would depart from Khartoum on Thursdays at 11:30am and arrive Muscat at 4:30pm. Muscat departure is scheduled at 5:30pm and arrival same day at Khartoum at 10:30pm.

The national carrier with support from the Sudanese community from all areas of the Sultanate would provide excellent service and baggage facility to all Sudanese nationals returning home, a statement by the Sudanese carrier said.

Ahmed Adam Ahmed, area manager Sudan Airways Gulf stated: “Our emphasis is on ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our customers, through reliability and excellent hospitality.

Sudan Airways has also launched attractive fares for families, youth and individuals travelling during the summer to Khartoum and to all other domestic points within Sudan.
