The world bank in 2010 (when sudan was united) claimed that % of arable land in sudan was 8.48%
on that time the whole of sudan was 2,506,000 km2
lets say for e.g
2,506,000 times 0.8 = 200,480.0 so 200,480 km2
so even if south sudan had taken all arable land of previous sudan it would have claimed that an estimated 30% is arable!
