Dictatorship.
The key feature of dictators is that they stand above the rule of law and the political process. They reflect many different ideologies, from the extreme to extreme and hold ruthless determination tp organize and control the nation they lead, some like Stalin and Al Bashir cause the death of millions.
The head of a millitary coup may become a dictator, simply because of the rigid chain of command and the absolute nature of military discipline, preventing a challage to established authority as in the case of present-day Sudan.
