Career: The focus of Mayom’s work is human rights, inspired, he says by his father who fought in civil war that led to South Sudan’s independence.

Before joining UN Radio Miraya, Mayom worked as a freelance for journalist for websites Sudan Tribune and Gurtong and various newspapers including the Khartoum Monitor, The Citizen, Sudan Mirror and The Juba Post.
