Background
Morris Yel Akol Tiit served as Western Bahr el Ghazal State’s finance minister for nearly three years under Governor Rizik Zachariah Hassan before he was promoted to Deputy Governor in July 2011.
Akol replaced Effessio Kon Aguak who later became an adviser to the Governor on peace and reconciliation.
