Background: Angelo Chol was appointed as Unity States Minister of General Education and Instruction in November 2012 by Governor Taban Deng Gai.
Chol replaced Them Machar Kuol, who was sacked after he and two other Parieng County politicians were accused of fueling disunity among members of the ruling SPLM at the county level.
In the reshuffle Paul Mabek Deng replaced William Mac Juac as Unity State Youth and Sports Minister, while Majok Gatdet replaced Stephen Mabek Lang Bilkuey Commissioner of Parieng County.
