Geography: Al Qadarif State is in (Eastern Sudan) sharing an international border with Ethiopia to the east. The state shares borders with four Sudanese states: Kassala and Khartoum states to the north, Al-Jazira State to the west and Sennar to the south.

Area: 75,263 km2 (29,059 sq mi)

Al Qadarif State Government
Al Qadarif State is a member of the Eastern Sudan States Coordinating Council, established as part of the June 2006 Eastern Sudan Peace Agreement between the Government of Sudan and the Eastern Front.
