Name: Hammad Ismail Hammad Abdul-Karim | Hamad Ismail Hamad Abdul-Karim
Career: Abdul-Karim served as the Governor of South Darfur State, from 25 January 2012 to 13 April 2013 when he was relieved by president Omar Al-Bashir. It is believed that the decision was due to increasing insecurity in the state. Under the emergency laws introduced at the start of the Darfur conflict in 2003, the president has the right to sack and replace state governors.
