November 20, 2013 (KHARTOUM) - The Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) on Wednesday retook Kaling area in South Kordofan state from the rebel Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF), a military spokesperson in Khartoum said.

"The armed forces today morning managed to drive the remnants of the so-called the Revolutionary Front from Kaling area in South Kordofan state," Al-Sawarmy Khalid Saad, said.

He further said that SRF rebels use the area, which located the Rashad district on the border with North Kordofan, as basis to launch attacks on the neighbouring areas, adding it comes in line with SAF efforts to secure the region.

He pointed that the regular troops confiscated arms and ammunition of the rebels who fled the area leaving behind a number of deaths.

The SRF did not issue a statement on the attack as its spokesperson was not reachable.

Last Sunday 17 November the rebel Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) attacked the town of Abu Zabad in North Kordofan state.

SAF repulsed the assault and killed the second deputy general commander of JEM troops Mohamed Rahouma who belongs to the Misseriya tribe.

The Sudanese defence minister Abdelrahim Hussein announced recently that SAF would launch a major offensive on the rebel positions in the country echoing statements by president Omer Bashir who vowed to eradicate the insurgents by 2014.

The rebel alliance SRF is composed of JEM, two factions the Sudan Liberation Movement led by Abdel Wahid Al-Nur and Minni Minnawi and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement – North.

The coalition vowed to topple Bashir’s regime and to establish a democratic and secular state in Sudan.

Sudanese should not allow such killing of innocent to continue for another decade, enough is enough, what left will disintergrate again as Dr.John said.

Please Al-Lemby, don’t disappoint us as usual, your job has become so easy now after the south lifted its hand from the rebel, we need you to restore the whole area from SPLA-N hand including

DO NOT ACCUSE THE SOUTH FOR SUPPORTING THE MIGHTY SRF. THEY CAN DEFEND THEMSELVES. WHY DO YOU THINK THEY TOOK UP ARMS IN THE FIRST PLACE INCLUDING THE PEOPLE OF DARFUR?
I DONT BELIEVE SAF BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS LIE. EVEN IF THEY ARE RIGHT THIS TIME, I KNOW IT IS A VILLAGE WHICH THEY CLAIM IS REBELS’ POSITION

Your SAF will NOT see a victory because S.Sudan will never stop supporting SPLA-N ATLEAST SUDAN RETURN PANTHOU TO WESTERN UPPER AND FAITHFULLY FULLY IMPLEMENT BORDERS DEMARCATION, ALSO S.SUDAN WILL MAKE SURE THAT TWO PROTOCALS OF TWO AREAS ARE IMPLEMENTED,oil flow or not oil flow, OTHERWISE, SAP CAN CAPTURE ALL TOWNS THEY WANT TODAY BUT NEVER LIVE IN TOMMORROW AS THEY DID IN THE SOUTH.

Bashir will go down on the history as the president who divided our country into regions,he will die soon after achieving his goal of disintergrating the remaining North Sudan, he intentionally refused to implement protocals for two areas which could have gave 2 areas automonies within remaining Sudan, he failed to make unity attractive in South during interim period, same policies of warmongering

You must develop the habit of skepticism, not swallow every piece of superstition you are told by witch-doctors and war mongers. SPLM Sudan and SRF are real people free from international crimes and they very clean compare to Al Sawari who support criminal to hold to his seat.. the days are numering and SRF is capable of retaking Kadugli not even Kaling. Just a village .In War, no clear winner.

Kaling area from SRF. end of rebellion in 2014.A black day for fisherman does not determine end to fish. The mineful people predict further division in Sudan if the old song continue even after south seperation.Quruan Alkareem is the main problem and people should forget about it as it was written by one man Mahmed for the sack of peace and peaceful coexistence.
