Activities focus on the interplay between conflict, media coverage, and reconciliation in transitional countries. MICT has been active in the whole of Sudan since 2009. Activities include capacity building for local journalists as well as expert support for select media houses. This publication is based on a series of interviews and research con- ducted by Anke Fiedler and Roman Deckert during a mission to Khartoum in December 2011.
