July 3, 2012 (JUBA) - The United States (US) Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is due in the South Sudan capital, Juba, this Friday as part of her 11-day tour of seven African countries, including Uganda, Senegal, Malawi, South African, Kenyan and Ghana.

Hillary Clinton Clinton is expected to hold a brief discussion with the
South Sudan leader, Salva Kiir, to urge officials in the
world’s newest nation to find ways of resolving their long standing
disputes with neighbouring Sudan.

The high level meeting is being organised by the presidency in collaboration with officials from South Sudan’s foreign affairs ministry.

The State Department spokesperson Patrick Ventrell, told reporters last Wednesday that Clinton will discuss the need to reach an agreement on the disputed issues with Sudan. She is also expected to discuss economic development in the new country.

A senior US official told the AP that she would express concern about a "lack of movement" in resolving the situation but also reaffirm America’s strong support for South Sudan.

Officials from Sudan and South Sudan are currently involved in talks
on a range of post-secession issues
, after the latter split from the
former more than a year ago. The two sides, now face possible
sanctions, after the 2 August deadline, set by the United Nations
Security Council (UNSC)
expired on Thursday without a deal.

The US, under former President George W. Bush, played a fundamental role in the negotiations that brokered the 2005 peace deal, which ended over two decades of a bloody civil war between north and south Sudan. Since then, America has been seen as a key ally of South Sudan, given the enormous support it receives financially.

In a related development, the US-based Human Rights Watch (HRW) has asked Clinton to press South Sudan, during her visit, on allegedly cases of human rights abuses in the country, citing unlawful detention, arbitrary arrests and absence of justice systems to try prisoners.

        Omoni,
Salva was put to power by people from Equatoria, Nuer, and Bahrel Gazel (don’t know how to spell it properly). Not Bor. Bor are very selfish people and they don’t put any one in power and when it comes to food distribution they become even the most greediest than most animals instinctively. My mother is from Bor but I am from Ngok Dongjol on the side of my Dad. DDS is fucked.

        Mading,

Don’t say again that it was Bor people who put Kiir in presence in your next time comments. Kiir was pointed accoring to his capability seen on him by all southerners, but not Bor people. SPLA/M position was not kngdom thorn for Bor but it was organization formed by all southerners including Northerners as matto for removing oppression over the people of Sudan. Have u got it?
        Thanks.

I urge you beloved children of south sudan not to comment or respond to Omoni’s remarks or frustrations; we all know there was no coupe and there wont be one because of anybody in south sudan; the ncp are frustrated to cause rumors.
i just like the idea that us backs fully south sudan. the need therefore to see sudan behave towards south sudan hing mainly on the notion that there wont be any more

bombings or excurtions on south sudanese oil. the scenerio that border, oil and security must be negotiated comes from a believe that both sides will obviousely go back to war. it is therefore necessary that they maintain border distance. of course sudan is the culprit here and south only response even agressively. this is the message for sudan from US

lucifer forces weaken the nations - Isaiah 14:12

The Hegelian Dialectic is, in short, the critical process by which the planner or plotter engineers the problem eg(Islamists, Terrorism, Global warming, famine, disease etc) anticipating in advance the reaction that thepopulation will have to the given crisis, and thus conditioning the people that a change is needed.

    repondre message

    • 3 August 2012 16:40, by 4Justice

When the population is properly conditioned, (like Johnny-on-the-spot) the desired agenda is presented as the solution. The solution isn’t intended to solve the problem, but rather to serve as the basis for a new problem or exacerbate the existing one.

      repondre message

      • 3 August 2012 16:41, by 4Justice

When the newly inflamed difficulty reaches the boiling point of a crisis, it becomes the foundation upon which arguments may again be made for change. Hence, the process is repeated, over and over, moving society towards whatever end the planners have in mind.
