In an exclusive interview with Sudan Tribune on Wednesday, the state minister of education, science and technology Michael Lopuke said that the panel includes state ministers, parliamentarians, representative of the civil society, youths and women.

Lopuke explained that, the aim of the mission was to discuss post-referendum issues and to examine how South Sudan, will stand on her own two feet.
“The high state government delegations need to tie permanent relationships between the two states”, he said.

The minister also told Sudan Tribune that the team will focus on the issues of good governance, economy and security concerns – most of which concern the Lord Resistance Army (LRA).

“We the government of Eastern Equatoria State are keen to share common goals and social services with Western Equatoria State to deliver efficient services to the communities of the both states”, the minister added.

He encouraged the citizens of South Sudan to leave tribalism and nepotism behind to pave the way for a successful new country.

“People of southern Sudan should instead create good relationship with the neighbouring states rather than causing violence that mostly results in instability and loss of life.

“We must put in our minds that there are many challenges ahead of us, so let’s by all means work for the betterment of our beloved country that has emerged from two decades of civil war”, he advised

The team was headed by the state minister of agriculture, Jerome Surur Gama, who told Sudan Tribune that in the workshop they discussed issues related to human rights and constitutional process.

Minister Jerome suggested that South Sudan should be formed under a federal system of governance and that the team should promote a review of the representation of the state in the constitution.

    Dear fearful Equatorians,

It’s your turn now to take up arms and fight LRA who have been killing your grandmothers, grandfathers, sisters, brothers day and night as if there are no strong men in Equatoria. Stop boasting and deal with LRA. Keep enjoying eating and remember LRA is at your doors.

Joseph Kony cannot make a mistake of moving from harmless Equatoria to Bhar El Ghazal or Upper Nile. If he dares to leave for those harmful regions, he will be completely crushed into pieces within an hour and that will be the end of LRA rebellion.

That is a good moves,a sign of unity, love and good fellowsip between the sisters states, and I wish this could not end in Equatoria but to be expanded to the other Southern States as well.
Jesus told his disciples to remain one,as he and his father are one.So Southerners please remain one under one leadership of our president Kirr.
I know some of you will hate this comment, but you must remember that, with all the evil thought you have of divisions:We are not going to succeed, and if there is a failure the whole world will be laughing at us because of the ignorance of some individuals.

Look at what is happening in Jonglei state,to be honest what is your comment on someone who is turning on to kill his fellow inocent civilian like that in Fangak:Killing dozens of their own people.
EVEN LRA IS BETTER THEN THAT GROUP SHAME ON YOU!!!

    To Elias,

Yes, Jesus told his disciples to remain united in case of any attack from outside. He told them not to allow their vulnerable people being killed without protecting them. Jesus says, don not call for my help when you don’t yourselves. I’ll protect you when you protect yourselves.

Part in your minds that Jesus will not send his troops from heaven to come and LRA when you are there. I feel pity on you when I hear LRA old aged people while young men are there.

    Dear Readers,
This mission is has nothing to do with Relationship with the two states but is to create any other division (kokora) among the people of South Sudan. EES has no any boundary with WES nor they have any common ethnic
diversities. So my advice to Comrade Louis Lobong is that let him not be confused by pro-NCP who are dominating his state government. post referadum are not inter-state affairs but rather a nation/GOSS affairs which can be done at a high level and to involve the representatives from all the states and not only the two. So GOSS should be very careful on such mission which are aimed to derails the nation from moving forwards.

Long live the unity of people of south Sudan
