May 10, 2010 — Sudanese official from the presidency, census commission and Southern Kordofan governor and his deputy discussed today final arrangements related to the reconduct of census in the state during the months of May and June in order to organize regional elections there..

An enumerator from the Sudan Commission for Census and Statistical Evaluation, right, interviews a family on the opening day of Sudan's 5th National Population and Housing Census in Khartoum, April 22, 2008.Last January, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) in southern Kordofan state contested the results of the fifth census of 2008 saying the counting was partially conducted in the state and that the geographical constituencies were determined unfairly.

The census, which is used to draw up constituency boundaries, had missed out large areas occupied by SPLM supporters, said Abdel Aziz Hilu, leading SPLM member and deputy governor of southern Kordofan last January.

Today’s meeting identified the time frame for reconducting the census during the months of May and next June, in order to determine dates and detailed timetable related to the procedures and financial budgets which would be discussed at the next meeting, said Ahmed Haroun, the state governor following the meeting.

His deputy governor, al-Hilu, stressed that the two peace partners are cooperation very well in the state, he also pledged to keep working with the NCP for the success of the census and programs or plans for Southern Kordofan.

The SPLM and the NCP had agreed that the Southern Kordofan would only participate in April 2010 elections on the national level only. The elections for the state assembly and governor position would be conducted after the re-count of Southern Kordofan.

This steps of recounting or re-registering the voters should be taken place in various parts of SouthernSudan,to eliminate the doubt of the masses that the election is rigged and the independent contestants has to assort to their miltia miltary power. At the contrary,SPLM/A cadres, who are not from SouthernSudan proved their patriotism, and pressured the NCP Government to accept their demands.

Are we keen about the future of our liberation struggle commrades?!Those who are from the other regions??!!Do we consider them,or look at them, the same way we look our South-Sudanese Liberators??!! No and we will never aknowledge our mistakes against our fellows NUBAS,just because of our foolish tribal pride. How about those who we misused during the war and abandoned after what we achieved politically...The Malakias and the Arabs of SPLA.....What a shame!!!!!!!!

We have to learn from our commrades in Nuba Mountains, before it be too late......

      Southern Kordofan people.

Do not forget the drakness time during the SPLA/SPLM that, you were one of combining Southern Sudanese people since and now. Also others Rigions will joinly to formally one nation either to be name Southern Sudan nation nor New Sudan nation it is up to you all those suffering under Sudan government. Nubian people have been stayed together with Southern Sudanese people for almost now 24 years and there is nothing will change that friendships between Nubian people and Southern Sudanese people. We do know that, Nubia Mountaints is under development just like Southern Sudan do and South Blue Nile too although Malik Agar did appeared to misspoken, he will be regretable if he let these Arab fool him by giving him more money for the short term he seem to be comfortable, but in the long run this North Sudan will have no money to bribe people this is something you guys need to put in your mind.

Although some people are confusing their minds not knowing what to do or say some words when they see they are in North Sudan’s Map of Khartoum, but if you guys can look the Ethiopia Map then, you will not worry anything at all. If the majorities of Nubian don’t knowing how to get information from others like Ethiopia then, why not those Educators Nubian people should offer to shown them Ethiopia Map. To explain just a little a bit, this is something obvious when North Ethiopia which is Eritrean separated from the 15 Regions in Ethiopia Country, the East, West and Southern Ethiopia are now known as Ethiopia and only one Region went to gain independence which is North Ethiopia, in contrasct to Sudan case we thinks this Map does not matter even when you relocated in West like Western Darfuri Regions or Khartoum for instance you still have right to go to where you will be treated good, but if the government have some agendas that agianst your freedom then, you have to decide qucikly before the time of Southern Sudan referendum due and you must also think very clear and you must make your thoughtful that, will benefit the interest of new generation to come and don’t be like Malik Agar who is just Cabiir [big guy] drakness asss and very stupid man I have never seen in my life. He don’t even know that, the reason why this injustice is not over yet in Sudan government and the only way is to make them isolated from African Tribes who want to practices culture and have to live in Sudan without fear because they are owner of Sudan land.

Our mood on Sudan government was not a single thing, but it is the generally problems as Nubian people knows more about the bad things Arab did to them when they only offer bus boy job for Nubian people same thing in Southern Sudanese have turned to be second citizens within Sudan as well as the Blue Nile and lastely the genocide in Darfurian people is that what we really want to see in our societies.? I think the message is clear to all African Black Tribes in Sudan even if those who shared Islamic like some of you in Nubia Mountaints knows very well that, these Arab people are out of touch and we are absolutely fade up with them in 44 years since the Sudan gain independence in 1956, and this is the time for all of us to tell them frankly that, enough is enough be staying separate and I think they will understand what they did to us have come to make them isolating, because they should have to blame their bad behavior for many years. Development is very simple only take few years to see the differences between the dictatorship government comusming times and new society government for example, Southern Sudan is quite different now from the time there was regime government of indictment Omar al Bashir killer. There are some Schools being builts than before there was nothing and I think we need to Isolated those who dominated us in many dcades and thus, your State of Southern kordofan will have a big different in 10 years later and most importantly our next new generations need to be free and we would like the Southern Kordofan people to combine with Southern Sudanese people as well as others are likely to do so and that is all my message to you guys.

Please Nubians this time try to stand on your feet never be explioted again by the Jalabas. You are the only tribe who still holds the name of the Nilotic do not let us down by being divided among yourslef by Jalabas; Nuba Arabs and Nuba Muslims and Christians and so..............forth.
Nuba Mountains is the only African place in Sudan that has not yet been utterly liberated. No one will do your work; do it yourself without blaming others.

after all i don;t even understand why there is going to be census again before its really time has come.those who are saying there should be re-counting at kordufan have to answer my question here.

This South Kordufan census,is mandated to the implementaion of CPA provission to the Popular Consultaion, that has to reviw the CPA according to the South-Kordufan and South BlueNile prespective. In case the people of these two states prefer to correct or adjusting the CPA to accomodate their concerns, the presidency should decree that and added to the constitution of Sudan,or they can opt to secede from Norther Sudan and declare their own self-determination right.

I hope that i answered some of your questions....
