January 15, 2010 (KHARTOUM) – The former Sudanese foreign and head of the Sudan People Liberation Movement for Democratic Change (SPLM-DC) Lam Akol will run for the post of South Sudan president, according to a statement released by his office.

Lam Akol

“The Alliance of Southern Sudan Political Parties which was in the South-South Dialogue in Khartoum last year met officially on Wednesday 13th January 2010 in Khartoum to nominate a Presidential candidate for the Government of Southern Sudan (GoSS)” the statement reads.

“The SPLM-DC presented their candidate then, Dr. Lam Akol Ajawin who was swiftly endorse[d] by the Alliance as the candidate to be supported by the Alliance in their bid to win the GoSS Presidency in the coming Elections”.

Akol was a leading figure in the legacy SPLM party but his close ties to the ruling National Congress Party (NCP) led by president Omer Hassan Al-Bashir has alienated his colleagues at the ex-Southern rebel group.

Akol has insisted at the time that the SPLM partnership with the NCP is particularly valuable and also campaigned in favor of the Sudanese President after the issuance by the International criminal Court of an arrest warrant against him.

The alliance expressed support to Bashir candidacy for president of the country.

“President Al Bashir is the only person to sign working peace agreement in Southern Sudan, Darfur, and the Eastern Region….. El Bashir was also credited with stopping wars and the bloodshed which had plagued the nation for so long. Also the inclusive administration instituted by President Al Bashir already is a good step for political pluralism and social and cultural diversity. Mr. Bashir is the very one now working to implement democratic transformation and as it was embodied in the interim Constitution of the country and the CPA and he should be given the chance to continue with this”.

“Bashir has to be given the chance to complete the implementation of the CPA and the other agreement which he had signed while serving current term. Many challenges remain and the alliance of Southern Political partied believes it is only Al Bashir who can overcame the challenges that remain in implementing the peace agreements”.

Last year, the former foreign minister announced the establishment of the SPLM-DC party which angered the SPLM party which sought to prevent it from using the name.

Furthermore, late last year South Sudan president Salva Kiir issued a directive banning the SPLM-DC activities in the South. However, the Sudanese Constitutional Court ruled in favor of Akol’s appeal against the decision.

I disagree with those shallow mind individuals who rush to make their conclusion on tribal and regional criticism. The issue is not about who run for presidency, even an arab man can run for Southern presidency if he is capable of pulling us out of insecurity, corruption and tribalism. Whether Lam, Kiir, Riek, Igga, Amum, Yasir, Kuol, polino, Mamur and etc can run for out presidency. Accepting people to run without considering their background in terms of tribes, religion, race and other characters will be the only way of uniting Southern.

I will admit Lam for his contestants not becauseof his DC party or being arab counterpart like some used to describe him. It is because I beleive that allowing him for leadership in South will show the World that we starting democracy move, it will also allow us to differentiate the difference between him and other formers leaders in South, which will give us a hint about urgent recuitement in future. In demoracy nation people are allow to participate free and fair just like travelling on public transport whenever you have the ticket. I argue my fellow Southerns not to make criticism about this and that base on dark image, make up stories are the enemy of unity, love, peace and security. The future of South Sudan or Democracy Republic of Victoria is in your hands.

New Year Message continuous to inspire

Time for tribalism has gone, 2010 is not a time to generalise tribe or community instead of one person. It is time to focus on the real issue far from tribal criticism, political party criticism, leaders criticism, and very far from abuses or insults. We should also debate far from abuses of any single commenter on ST forum, to myself I want to be a man of tolerance, peace, responsbility, respect, forgiveness, love, unity and courage . It is time to get serious and work for the betterment of my nation South Sudan (Democratic Republic of Victoria), South Sudan should be call Victoria, because the long struggle is victory, CPA is victory, South Sudan liberation is victory, our insecurity will be a victory, election and referrendom are potential victories.

I didn’t change myself because of pressure or whatsoever, it could be my 2010 resolution. For now lets start new year with fresh mind and positive ideas that will improvement the managment of South Sudan, childish comments must be ignored. Some individual comment aggressively when they are defeated in debate, this spirit must be abandon. We are here to play a game ie you get defeated or you defeat others defends on the article and the extend of your debate, but don’t insult people. This is my new year message to ST viewers, contributors, pseuds, readers and editor.

          With this bias and unfair selection process of candidats by the handpicked SPLM politburo in Juba;

          With the bad experience the people of South Sudan have been witnessing under the tribal and corrupt leadership of Salvatore Kiir Miyerdit;

          With the incompetence of Kiir himself;

          With the emergence of too many independent candidates against the SPLM candidates;

          With the support to Dr. Lam Akol by the other opposition parties in the South;

And with the likely event that the NCP will block the SPLM from rigging the votes in its favor, etc, Dr. Lam Akol will definitely win the South Sudan presidency.

Hello Equatorians and Non Equatorians! When I say Equatorians I mean the three states of Greater Equatoria—Central Equatoria, Western Equatoria, and Eastern Equatoria, plus any person who do not tolerate tribalism, corruption, and non-democratic activities.

My message to you is that incase this election will happen, please cast all your votes for Yasir Arman, as the National president of Sudan, and Dr.Lam Akol as the president for South Sudan. Greater Equatorians are far from tribalism and any crude nonsense; they are peaceful, kind and responsible people. They are civilized, hence are not after power struggle, like the Dinkas and the Nuers are battling now. Time will come for the Equatorians to lead this country and bring it to stability—just like Joseph Lagu, the founder of South Sudan, from whom Kiir and all Southern Sudanese follow footsteps to correct the current turmoil in Sudan/South Sudan. Lagu is the eye of South Sudan. I have proved Kiir incompetent for the last four years, therefore I’m not going to cast my vote to him; Kiir is corrupt (I mean he refuses to bring his tribe-mates who practices corruption in GoSS to justice and to follow the law, and he has disobeyed the law by practicing tribalism—by not standing or not accepting to be as the SPLM chief of Army, yet he failed to follow the constitution of the CPA-Sudan as of 2005 ignorantly. He favors some of his illiterate Dinka relatives, who are letting South Sudan down and making the world to laugh at us as if everyone in South Sudan is a Dinka, yet not.

South Sudan has more stronger and powerful people who can lead South Sudan to stability, free of corruption and tribalism. Therefore, we should vote for Arman and Lam Akol. If they fail to fulfill our demands, we shall also vote them out from power, until we get the right people. We should not blackmail Akol as a traitor all the time—it is a fallacy...let him come to power so that we can see and disapprove him. We should not associate everything letting South Sudan collapse with NCP. The failures in South Sudan are not because of NCP, but because we have no determined and responsible leaders. Greetings to all Sudanese/South Sudanese!

Whether through rigging election or democratically process, I can guarantee you that Kiir will be the president of GOSS after April elections. The NCP has no any jurisdiction over South Sudan so it can not monitor anything in South Sudan. The Dinka led SPLM will do anything to prevent you traitors from getting the presidency. Whether by breaking the constitution or through gun barrel, Kiir will still be the president in South Sudan for the next five years. If we have to go into civil war in South Sudan to prevent you traitors from the presidency so let it be.

Yes, Salva Kiir as a coward has refused to face Bashir in the national presidency. So as the chairman of the SPLM he has the first chance to be nominated as candidate for the South. This is as simple as that and didn’t need predictions. Even an idiot like you could understand it. Dr. Riek could not compete against his chairman especially when the handpicked SPLM politburo doesn’t understand the right selection criteria.

Running between North and South has not and will not help Riek. Riek has no principles that he follow otherwise he would not has been running between NCP and SPLM. Riek is not truthworthy, he is not a stable person. He will always switch to a winning party any time. Therefore, We do not need that kind of a leader to lead us in South Sudan. If you Nuer Naath like him, make him your king but not the president in South Sudan.

Do you think Bashir was ready for peace? He was forced by IGAD. If he was for peace, why did he send his soldiers to Torit & Gogrial to capture the while all high ranking SPLA officials were in Naivasha?

Can you really support a man who more than 3 millions Southerners to be next president? Do you still remember hundreds Equatoria senior officers killed by him in 1990s?

Ladies and genltement, dinkas boy and jech amer. I appreciate your individual suggestions as way of self expression. However I prove you wrong for judging that I was commenting on tribal basis or escorting lam for his presidency. In my comments if you where genine, I took a deep general concepts by abstracting common properties of instances. I didn’t exclude GOSS as a general concept and focusing on tribal motivation. Once again to dinkas boy, you are well known to me since you join me in this forum. I know the way you understand things and interpreting in your own meaning.

I would like to make it simple to each and everyone of you that, my view was more on generalism of Southern and making them to united. I didn’t admit Lam because of his DC party as I have stated at first place. For the fact that people interpret a picture into different meaning seem to be the problem behind your tribal attitude. This is 2010, I am not in favour of hating dinkas, nuer, equatorians, mundari, shilluk or whatsoever. I am not also in any grace of being good to nuer or equatorians and isolating dinkas, Azende or shilluk. Each and every single idea I am expressing in 2010 is fully on general theory. I understand that you appreciate peoples’ view when they talk positive things about dinkas, but this is not my game to play in 2010. There is time for this but not always. Like I say, a judge make things according, it is unacceptable to suspect someone’ guilty without evidence.

Furthermore, I would like both of you dinkas boy and jeck to pay more attention to my comments whenever you are reading. Take time and take much air as you can, it is unacceptable for you to rush on the net and reading the top sentences without care. It is not only about commenting on this fora, the general strategy of being carefully reader helps you in your own future. It assist you to make analysis of things. Becarefully boys, I am far from tribal attitude, you better stop decribing salt as sugar. 2010 is time for telling the truth and allowing the fruit of democracy to yield in South Sudan or Democratic Republic of Victoria.

It will be another story that need everyone’s attention in this forum. One thing you like to act smart by creating stories far from the article, but such attempts will never help yourself, others and the nation of South Sudan.

I don’t occasionally make any judgement about people or their way of self expression like the way you stuck yourself. Combination of salt and sugar destory the gustatory modality of each other this is one thing you should remember. I wonder to the way you confused yourself by inserting irrevelant inform into your comments. Where is the logic or relationship of your comments with the article, just the word Lam which is atrocious to some people like yourself? I am not interested with your rubbish my friend, every matter is in your hands, all your mis-interpreting and make up stories are your business. I understand the way you are struggling to push me into tribal behaviours, but I will not follow individuals like yourself in broad day light. Insults, criticism and hatred are not longer my data system. I give you the choice of showing respect or keep acting nasty and you will be ignored like trumpery bolt.

Lam Akol will not win even a vote in the Southern Sudan not because he is a choluck, but of his political history. Tell me one thing that he did right?
I tell you his own trible will not vote for him. Even in his own wedding of 1980’s, Adward Lino Abyei was representing him as his father beacause most of his trible don’t like him at all.
What he did in the split of 1991 was very bad and no single person in the whole world liked it. Then he couldn’t think to correct that mistake when he got the chance. Who are the foolish southerners that will vote for him? Neur,Dinka, Barry, Didinka, Choluck. Please tell me.
Kiir has a clear and powerful history; not because he is a Dinka, but because he stands the course. If they picked Igga, Malik, Kuaji, Mamur, Pagan, Nial, Deng Alor, Gen.Hoth, Gen. Deng Ajak, Gen. Piang, I will still vote for them because they fought and they should earn it. Election is about positive history not distruction.

Since he formed his party in May last year, I haven’t seen him visiting one of Southern Sudan towns, then refer him to as COWARD. Kiir goes to Khartoum on daily basis plus other northern towns.

If Lam wants to be president of GOSS, who is going to vote for him, Northerners?

To all those hypocrites and supporters of Lam Akol,

Your candidate has no chances whatsoever to win in South Sudan. He will never be allowed to campaign in South Sudan and most importantly, he does not have the support of the Almight Dinka. Nobody can win in South Sudan without Dinka support. You all minority tribes can vote for Lam but your votes will not be enough.

Statistically, it is impossible for Lam to win the presidency. Kiir will get 100% of Dinka votes, 60% of Nuer votes and 80% of Equatorian votes. Let say Lam gets 80% of his little tribe votes. You Lam supporters will need more than a Miracle to win the presidency in South Sudan.

        Dear Kim Deng,
Lam Akol Will remain a party leader and not the nation because of the following fiascoes.
        1. He joined the movement in 1987. The leadership trusted him and was elected into "High Command Council", led Fashoda Battalion, in charge of SPLM office in Addis Ababa. all these merits, he betrayed the confidence of Southerners by initiating the 1991 split, hoping he would oust Garang by blackmailing Dr. Riek Machar was loved by all Southerners at that. He thought by using Dr.Riek, would support his machinations because Nuer majority will stand with him. When the coup failed and Dr. Riek bcame a leader the new movement, he further split and form his own Shilluk group of SPLM united, a bizzare. He didn’t even managed to unite Collo tribe even. He was happy to see the two major tribes killing each other. He said, let the two fight and urged his own to pursue education lay down their guns.
When Dr. Riek signed Khartoum, he rushed to the enemy to sign Fashoda Peace Agreement. I don’t where the pages of that agreement and its framework are. After sawing Dr. Riek appointed as an assistant to president Bashir and president for Coordinating Council for Southern States, he let go of defunct Fashoda Accord and joined Bashir’s INQAZ. Luckily he was transport portofolio. He survived two deadly accidents, one which took former Vice president, Zubeir Mohamed Salih in a plane crash in 1998 and another between Medani Khartoum highway in 1999, which ended with his brained operated upon. When he saw that his life was in danger and INQAZ government trashed their agreements and was in talk with SPLM, he ran back. He was forgiven as a prodigal brother.
Before returning back to SPLM, he formed Justice Party with those of Hassan Bilal. He was not allowed to head that party. He split again formed Original Justice Party.

2.Again, Southerners trusted him once more to have him appointed a first Southerner to be foreign minister of Sudan through SPLM ticket, a history he got by chance, but left it with bad legacy. He was also given a seat in National parliament. Again he was not satisfied. He betrayed SPLM by promoting the policies of NCP and in particular of El Bashir and not the policies of The Government of National Unity or even those of SPLM, but arrogantly said,SPLM did not made me a politician.

All Southerners living inside South Sudan will not vote for him. whoever is against SPLM is an enemy of Southerners and that is what Lam Akol is.

Dear Greaters fearful Equatorians includin Busat2, James john.

You are hoping for Dr, Traitor Lam Akol Ajawin who will turn to surrender to Omar al Bashir with him. Did any one saw him one challenging the Sudan government of indictment killer Omar Hassan al Bashir.? The answer is NO. Why because he is a person of internest only and he had been associate with Omar al Bashir for many years. Who are those will votes for Dr, Traitor Lam Akol Ajawin.? Your answer here is the collaborators will vote for failure man.

Although I don’t agree with Salve Kiir Manyardit in many issues including his failure to protect Dinkas from his colleagues Miltitamen Paulino Matip Nhial and Nyagat Riak Machar Teny but I will respect him to gain his position until he will pass on to another good leader in Southern Sudan after when the Southern Sudan gain its independence, but for Lam Akol oh, my God I am feeling sorry for him and my Community will not bothering to vote for Dr, Traitor Lam Akol Ajawin who tomorrow will turn my people to Arab bad government this is not going to happen. People like will dream to bring an enemy like Lam Akol Ajawin in to leadership of Southern Sudan by Shilluk mircle, but I don’t think it is going to work, because we have been known this failure guy for many years since when he was mobilzing Riak Machar Teny to overthrowing the late chairman Dr, John Garang de Mabior in the earlier time.

Dr, Traitor Lam Akol Ajawin will not even win in his own Community of Shilluk of Upper Nile leave about Southern Sudan presidency chairmanship one. Lam Akol he is a judas man, he belief in causing more problems in Southern Sudan, he was become well known destruction politician man and he also being known of surrendering to Khartoum government more than one time in the SPLA/SPLM Movement’s history. Dr, Traitor Lam Akol Ajawin have no Box for Southern Sudanese people to cast their vote to enemy of peace.

Lam Akol back-ground since he was a teacher and he was living in Omurderman city. He was registered in three parties when people asked him why you did that and he said, I want to see any one of these become good then, I would like to have membership later he left to SPLA/SPLM in 1984. From there he stayed a little a bit while he was being discoverying as a some one became sabboting SPLM Movement telling another Dr, Nyagat Riak Machar Teny that, Dr, John Garang was supposed to put you as a deputy chairman of the SPLA/SPLM undermining the late William Nyuon Bany saying this Nyuon Bany is the primitive Neur why not you Dr, Riak Machar Teny.

Dr, Traitor Lam Akol Ajawin is the person who is goals was to collect money from Arab nations in the Middle East and some parts within Arab African leaders and came to Khartoum to bribes those Idiots Southern Sudanese who always run after bribe organization of Arab in the Sudan. Dr, Traitor Lam Akol Ajawin had already lost his career after when he was being appointed as a Sudanese Foreign Ministery and he moved his Office to Omar al Bashir to became associate with him. Lam was making fake acusation to his own GOSS telling Omar al Bashir that, Salve Kiir Manyardit did not defend Sudan oversee but was only supporting Southern Sudan in the abroadly nation. Now the question dose Lam Akol think he will be elected while he was talking against the rebuilding of Southern Sudan.? Do you guys trust this collaborator like this Dr, Traitor Lam Akol Ajawin.?

In Sudan level Lam Akol he is not good either. He was at the time he was a Foreign Affair to explain what he think for the killing of Darfurian civilians by the Sudan government and this is what he said, there is no any genocide these Darfurian people and the U.N. Are claiming but in reality Omar al Bashir did accepted 9000-10,000 maybe have dies in Darfuri. People who endor Lam Akol are more worst people with their chairman of collaboration than those just disagreeing in the GOSS. Dr, Traitor Lam Akol Ajawin was acusing Western Nations for no reason saying the Western world are they one who creating Sudan problems very interesting to judge the inability of Lam Akol in Sudan. Personal I am very strongly beliefs the career of Lam Akol Ajawin is over and he has nothing to talk about Southern Sudan presidency candidate and our demaning is to face jail in Southern Sudan if found within the Region.

Dearest to all my colleagues wherever, you are this is very Important message for SPLA/SPLM to tell them in GOSS to be aware that, the Sudan government yesterday,at Khartoum in secretly areas. There are thousand people from Neur and Shilluk Tribe who were in the training Camp within Northern Sudan now, they are armies by Omar al Bashir’s government to come to Southern Sudan in order to started fighting with the SPLA in Southern Sudan. This message is very Important to the SPLA perhaps, it is also very Important to Mr, Salve Kiir Manyardit to know in time a head. The goals for those Nuers and Shilluk being trains in Northern Sudan was to make another destruction in Southern Sudan so that, the referendum period will not be make it or faile another word. It is not clear whether these Militas being relasing now from the training Camp in Northern Sudan are associates with Riak Machar Teny nor Gabriel Tangieny, but the source told me in Khartoum that, this another movement are linking with Dr, Riak Machar Teny and Dr, Traitor Lam Akol Ajawin as well as Mr, Gabriel Tangieny and Riak Machar Teny are very likely to back their SPLM Nassir. Now these Militas are about on the way to come to Southern Sudan to start fighting with SPLA according to socurce from Khartoum and this message of mind must not be ignore, because there are many people have witness seeing these largest of thousands people being trains and they have been given all equipment to come and then, make destruction in Southern Sudan particularly they are told to looting Dinkas Cows for their food and destroying Dinkas Communities.

In addition to this, I will be very happy if any one can informing all SPLA Cdrs and even Salve Kiir Manyardit and the States governors especially in Bhar al Ghazal Communities to be prepares, but this is absolutely need SPLA to deal with them, because they are organizes by Khartoum government and GOSS must take it seriously this is not joking. SPLM in GOSS also need to be very smart and stronger one and they need to know who they have trust and whoes is not. Failure to tell SPLA Cdrs and Salve Kiir Manyardit on how they will prevent it like that event in 1991, will result in a big surprise

If Lam contest with Salva Kiir Mayardit then it is obvious that Salva will win and DR Lam Akol will take the position of Riek Machar if that is what Nuer want in the South.

Hahahaha, he is adead end human parasit who fool Riek Machar before, even Riek Machar will not make hime come closure to him because he is the husand of Riek.

His candidacy may be rejected and the handpicked incompeten SPLM politburo may be asked again to nominate somebody else...

This can even safe time and resources instead of him trying an election he cannot win. The people of South Sudan are fed up of his leadership which is characterized by incompetence, tribalism, corruption, lack of vision, lack of development (service delivery), land grabbing and the list is too long...

Salvatore Kiir Miyerdit will either go to village in Warrap if they need him for the chieftancy or migrate to Australia and join his family there as dissident.

      WOw!

Let those who daydream Lam becoming the South Sudan’s president stop their dreams. There is no any other candidate that will win the Southern presidency apart from SPLM candidate and that candidate happens to be President Salva. The only party that can gurantee the aspirations of South Sudanese is the SPLM. SPLM has promised to take the Southerners to the referendum and will respect the choice of the South Sudanese people.

It is very difficult to vote for a defector who claims to bring a chance and then at the same time go to Khaartoum to support a criminal. We are not against anybody or any tribe but we are against those who want to betray us for the second time.

Let us (Southerners) not be deceived any more by simple words like corruption, insecurity, tribalism, etc. These are the words use by the enemies of our nation to differ us from our goal. We sincerely admit that there are corruption, insecurity, tribalism, etc; but these can not prohibit us from voting the right person a.d party that will protect and respect our choice as South Sudanese.

I pray that every Southerner will vote for Salva and Yasir Arman and God will bless you.

    Dear Southerners,

Both Salva Kiir and Dr.Lam Akoll are our candidates for the upcomining election, therefore all southerners should give freedom of movement to all the states of southern Sudan regardless of being SPLM or SPLM-DC to present their slogans to the electorates.

There should be no intimidation to any of the candidate and it is the qualities and Principles of a candidate that enable him to achieve success in the election.

Tribalism: All southerners whose heart is full of making tribal conflict or those who want to vote along tribal line are to shut up their mouth and wait for the time of voting .If you want to vote for your uncle ,just sit and vote silent and stop intimedating any of the Candidtes.

Competition for leadership in a democratic system will improve the services that will be deliver to the citizens compare to military regime of salva Kiir and Bashir where laws only work on written paper but not being apply.

The constitutions of Southern Sudan is very clear but its implementation is base on tribal bases.

My Message to Greater Equatorians and Peace Loving Citizens, is that the time for overthrowing dictatorials leaders by mean of ballot paper or vote has come and therefore join your hands to choose aleader of our choice BUT not a ruler.

What I know in my mine is that the Dinka will be voting along the tribal line regardless of qualifications of a candidate, Equatorians and peace loving citizens should not inovle in tribal issue. Our target is to choose a leader that can improve the fundamental services of the country such as security services, medical services, Education services, transport ,develoment and equal distribution of resources in the state.

5Years Evaluation Report of GoSS Activities Since 2005.

In the last five (5) years of Comprehensive Peace Agreement, lead by Salva Kiir, Southern Sudan had experienced critical tribal conflict in the states level especially in in Jonglei ,Malakal, Wau,Unity state, Rumbek and also grabbing of land in Central Equatoria State(Juba) by governement officials was a common phenomena. In all these bloodshed and atrocities committed by the GOSS official, the government kept silence but corruption and un equal distribution of reourcses had been the order of the day.The GoSS official had been practicing silence Genocide in the States of Southern Sudan and the report shows that about 658 people were murdered during the GoSS activities in Southern Sudan. This had affected the reult of the Census in Southern Sudan.

Report also indicates that military officials from the Rank of Captains to Lt. Generals had been giving armunitions to their villagers to raid with cattles and this contributed to tribal conflicts which resulted to lost of life.

According to this evaluation reoprt for GoSS activities in southern sudan, it’s enought for me to make the right Decision.

You people need to chill out and stop blaming game!!!!

Anybody who want to run has a right to run but what we need from them is what they can do people of South Sudan. We don’t need talk of talk. We want strategy. How is this individual going to run the South Sudan affairs?

    1. What can he (the candidate) do about North & South?
    2. Does each believe in Separation of South from North?
    3. What can he (the Candidate) do about Poverty; how can you elevate the living standard "ECONOMICALLY AND SOCIALLY"
    4. How about Education and Health care? What is your plan? What can you do?
    4. How are you going to tackle the insecurity and cattle wrestling (which caused inter-tribal) tribalism?
    5. How about Freedom of speech & Freedom of press?

Although we know each individual background on what they are capable of, still this is world of Democracy. Those who are contending need to convince us why he/she wanted us to vote for him as our next president?

We need answers, Agenda and how to achieve those goals. Rest of the Southerners and I are not interesting in blaming game or crying faults.

Lam has been crying faults, faults SPLM and being too pro-NCP but that won’t bring any solution at all. He needs to convince us Southerners not any pro-United Sudan.

Otherwise he needs to shout-up and turn his engineering degree into something tangible in the South by opening technical school and teach there as a teach so that next generation will know who he is, if he is after the well-being of South Sudan.

    Hello everybody,

2010 is the time for TRUTH. It is too late for tribalism and personal attacks. It is time for credentials, experience, honesty and political programs. It is the biggest chance for us to prove to the Jalaba and the whole world that we are democratic - not hypocrite. We want the same freedom (though not complete) prevailing in the North in the South. It is time for SPLM to show us, Southerners, that what the others are saying about lack of freedom of political organization and activity in SS can be corrected.

There are so many scenarios, but we need the best that lead to the united SS. Anything that triggers tribalism and injustice is no longer good for us. We need sincere people. I heard some people saying that influential Equatorian are cooking with leaders from Neur, Shiluk and other none-Dinka forces to outnumber the Dinka dominated SPLM/SPLA in the forthcoming election. This is a nightmare. All lovers of SS should not get themselves in such a deadly scenario. SPLM/A should swiftly fill the loop holes and utilize the few time left to unite Southerners. History will remember whatever we do. Let it be good!

Let whoever feels qualified to contest. Don’t put hurdles on the political transformation of our nation. Any scenario based on tribal lines will be the end of our hopes. Even God will not help us and for sure not the world.

SPLM should lead the march to safe, prosperous SS. It should mobilize the people from all the corners of the South to select the best man to their knowledge to whatever post. It is not the time of excluding the other or getting the support from the tribe only.

    Oh Ye Southerners UNITE.

The Islamists are using the Hegelian Dialectic principle to create cognitive Dissonance among Southern Sudanese.

The Thesis - Antitheses - Synthesis or Problem - Reaction - Solution Paradigm works like this:

        1) The (Jihadist) government creates or exploits a problem (Hatred between Nuer & Dinka, corruption, disinfo psyops) blaming it on GOSS, Dinka, Kiir etc)

        2) The people react by asking the (Islamic)government for help willing to give up their rights, dignity, freedom, land, resources to the Islamists.

        3) The (Islamic Jihadist) government offers the solution that was planned long before the crisis had been created.

2 try not to attack him/her about his/her idioticalness, because you may be on that position tomorrow and you probably don’t want people to say such things to you. Furthermore, is not good way of politic. I ain’t devating, but plz bit your tung if you think you are not polite potician. May God bless the world ingeneral and Sudan in particular.

Dr. Lam Akol’s decision to run for the post of South Sudan president is a poor planning organized by his political architect (Omar Al Bashir) who wants to cheats Southern by any possible means.
Dr. Lam Akol is a virus to the people of South Sudan, an enemy of peace, and a great quitter, an instable politician who can never rule his family leave alone the people of South Sudan.
He is just a trader of our blood ant nothing else.

Crying and blaming when you failed personally will never do any better to us. Why don’t you set your acceptable tone for the South individually than be fellowers of those who short changed our liberty for their individual desire. Many folks here on the web are trying to diable Southern government through blaming which is fueled up by tribal interest, and which is also structured by few greedy politicians who love nothing for us but destruction and failure. You guys stop blaming and be a productive citizens. You reverse your thoughts process, for you are misleading yourselves nowhere. You grow up and think maturely than being evil pleasers with nothing to gain in the end. Follow the right path than wrong path!

    Hi guys!!!!. Iam back

SPLM-DC will win southerns persident election in 2010,if GOSS and people of south need democracy and living in peace. Dr Machiar is already blocked out in contest at one of positions, either south or north position.I think, Dr Lam Akol is the qualify for south Sudan president.

If I want more public fund to be looted,I will vote for Salva Kiir. If I want more innocents to be killed, I will vote for Salva Kiir. If I need other people’s lands to be taken, I will vote for Salva Kiir. If I want more tribal/recess at job opportunities,I will give my vote to Salva Kiir. If want Salva Kiir and his minsters to transfer south Sudan’s resource to other countries, I will vote for him.
Acting aggressively to fear others, may not help in the future.

Yes, Lam Akol has a vision of betrayal, division and leadership greed. Nobody can disputes that.

Salva Kiir Mayardit will never abandon South Sudan for Hollywood. He remain and die here. He had been in this fighting for freedom since the Anyanya one till now. He had never wavered.
