Aleu says he knew would return to SPLM

By Ngor Arol Garang

September 4, 2009 (KHARTOUM) – Mr. Aleu Ayieny Aleu, the senior member of SPLM, whose membership of reinstatement has been recently confirmed by the Party leadership after it was stripped off, said he knew would be returned his membership.

In two letters dated on August 29, SPLM Secretary General, Pagan Amum, informed the Ayieny and Telar of their reinstatement “as a full member into the rank and file of the SPLM as of 17th April 2009.”

“Although I was embraced, I knew I would be reinstated, because my dismissal and that of Telar Deng had no grounds. We were neither investigated to defend ourselves to be proved guilty nor did we receive convincing reasons that led to our dismissal,” he said.

Asked how he feels after reinstated, he said, he is feeling good and happy to be sitting on the same political table to share issues of concern with members of the party again.

He added that his feeling has never changed, because, he said, has lost nothing. Nothing was hurting me from dismissal, in fact I don’t call it dismissal but regarded as suspension, he stressed.

“I did not lose contacts with friends and comrades in the leadership even though my services as minister were discontinued.”

“What was happening was a mere political conspiracy which is a normal practice in politics,” he said.

He further called for unity among the party members and transparency in judgment and in actions.

SPLM chairman Salva Kiir Maydrit on December 1, 2007 had issued a decision to relieve Telar Deng and Aleu Ayieny from the membership of the SPLM’s political bureau and the national assembly as well as the SPLM’s membership in general.

Salva Kiir pointed out that the resolution aimed at protecting and maintaining the solidarity of the SPLM as an entity.

Aleu had been sacked from the party following repeated hints over the circumstances of Garang death. He also asked publicly several times to reopen the investigation of the chopper crash.

The former state minister for Interior had been member on the national committee to investigate the incident.

I hope Kiir mayarthii should seek self-training in leadership. It is a weird and asburd for him to act as if as he is in his house. Does Kiir know what is the qaulity of good leader? If no he then relieves himself from the stood of rule so that we can accredit him, putting him in reserve to earn a better life. We are sailing in red sea of death but Kiir doesn’t accomplish anything to boat us out of fury storm. This critic may sound that I hate him but I hate no one. We need to judge people according to their wisdoms and responses to national outrageous rather than relation. I chide him for messing up with nation. Kiir needs to bear in his frozen mind that a wolf and sheep can’t be tethered in the same rope or herded them in the same ranch. The feral dog seldom bites, Yoweri is a wolf and ANYIENY is a sheep while Kiir is a sleeping dog so Mr. Anyieny “let the sleeping dog lies” Garang death is nation outrageous but it is golden chance to Kiir. Kiir doesn’t dream of becoming a leaders and if God throws him a rope, he can pull himself out of a deep pit and defends Yoweri who chances him a seat. Kiir needs to be frank and sincere in governing us. Kiir should be loyalt to people. Gossip is the poison of life so Kiir you don’t need to listen to folk tales. You had better to answer riddle rather than drag us on the red ass earth.

Kirr is playing dead game. He sucked him to shutdown DR. Garang investigation team from giving clear report. He is joking with thug MUSEVENI of Uganda. Do you remember Museveni face during the signing of the CPA in Kenya, go back reached. Museveni was scared of the late Dr. Garang, however all those fact will come out and those resposible will pay the price now or their children will be accountable for it. Kirr need to avoid associating with this thug and minds about his nation. Can anyone recalled what happened during Museveni visit to Juba? To end GOSS government should investigate the fake plane crash that killed the late to clear people doubt on Kirr himself. Welcome comarade Aleu.
