Sudan partners mark the 4th anniversary of peace in Malakal

January 9, 2008 (KHARTOUM) — Sudan government partners marked today the fourth anniversary of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) in the capital of Upper Nile State, Malakal, where they called for reconciliation and preservation of 2005 peace.

The celebration of the CPA this year was calm and the signatories of the peace agreement for the first time stopped blaming each other for the ill-implementation of the fragile deal. President Omer Hassan Al-Bashir and First Vice-President Salva Kiir Mayadrit putted aside their difference and called for reconciliation of all the Sudanese.

Al-Bashir in his speech at Malakal Stadium, said that the CPA is the biggest political achievement in the country since its independence in 1956. He also stressed that peace will not hold unless it is supported by five objectives: national reconciliation and peaceful coexistence, resolution of Darfur conflict, self determination for southern Sudanese, making unity attractive, and the organization of the general elections before the end of the fourth year of the CPA.

While Salva Kiir said that the SPLM is committed to the peace agreement and to his partnership with the National Congress Party of Al-Bashir. He also underlined he would not lead the country back to war again. However he signaled the need to resolve the pending issues.

Al-Bashir and Kiir wore a Shilluk dress called "Lawha" before to address the celebration.

The President of the Republic inaugurated Renk-Malakal Road, 72 km, and a of facilities in the capital of Upper Nile including electricity and water stations and the city branch of Bank of Southern Sudan.

He was received at Malakal airport by Salva Kiir Mayardit, and the members of Southern Sudan government.

The CPA signed on January 2005, ended more than two decades war that left 2 million dead. The deal created a national unity government, and another semi-autonomous government for the ten states of southern Sudan. It also organizes a democratic transition in the country through general elections in 2009, and allows southern Sudan to vote for self-determination in 2011.

That was a great start from the two sides; its the only way out if leaders could stick to each other, no matter the differences. CPA is the destiny for the country! Therefore encourage that the leaders maintain the spirit of give and take.

There is time to talk shit and time to talk serious and here commend the President of the Republic Field Marshal Omar Hassan Al Bashir and the First Vice President Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit for that good show. To attend the occasion together was great!

Prophets of doom, give us a break and give ’Caesar what belongs to him’. You aren’t better but only spoilers.

Long live the will of the Sudanese people, long live the SPLM, long live the people of Upper Nile, long live Omar and Kiir. CPA Oyee.

      Dinkaweed Leader, and Janjaweed.

We received 2009 by a measurable shock, though 2008 we struggle to swallow the difficulties insecurity in our land. Kirr and Bashir all talk of reconciliations, and coexistance. I am sure the killings that happened in Equatoria Juba if it happen in Khartoum, President Bashir will send his security police agents to identify those thugs, and arrest them. And all their names will be identified out, maybe citizen of Khartoum will demand need to see those culprits being jail, sentence to death by the law.

But Kiir is not even taking any action move, his advisors Dinkas will tell him to just ignor, don’t say anything about this murdering only within themselves they will know who are the killers by name; but because they are from dinka, [HE]Kiir will maintain silents. These are the kinds of security protections that SPLA Culprits were getting from their leader who is a Dinka also. Now, such umbrella covering from the leader of SPLA will sharpens the horns of the killers, and they will do it a gain. Because no any punishment was taken, and this is what exactly happenning within the Dinkaweed secret agenda, they wanted to show their the so called Dinka Mighty.

Its very unfortunate all Southerners fought the war against Arabs, and the pionears of the liberation struggle Equatorians are now being sloughtered, killed, murdered in a cold blood by one ethnic group Dinka, as they wanted to say that they can killed any body as they want because SPLA will not arrest them, instead will give coverring to them. Dinkas have showen that they can not coexist with any tribes nighbor to nighbor, only they will creat conflicts from no-where. Any human being can ran wild if they got guns in their hands; because they gives values to the lives, specially people who went though dificulities like All Southerners including Dinkas, all we saffured thesame, How comes Dinka will just forget these things within 3 or 4 years of CPA; and the other responds will be Dinka has a secared plan to settle and control other people’s land by the barral of the gun as one day Omer Bashir was saying. Oky, now, Dinka wanted to do thesame what Janjaweed are doing in Darfur. Bashir was quite danaying Janjaweed attrocities, Kiir is quite not taking any action to arrest, and exposed the names of those killers out to the public because it will appear all the names are Dinkas. If they are from Bor people will know, and if they are from Aweil, or whatever any Dinka clan people will know. Now the question is untill when Kiir will be silent, silent suporting the murdering of Equatorians in the hands of Dinka like that.

Now, what we know is that SPLA is fulfilling the interest of Dankas Millitias Only in Souithern Sudan, But not the interest of all Southerners, 2011 the result is allready out everybody; even people lost the apetite of an independent State if that is the way how Dinkas will continue to behave. Unless Southern legistlive [Lawmakers] Legallizes the handleing of firarms weapons for every citizens so that we shall see who is really coward. Just like in the USA, anybody can buy a gan. Any body who says he is a brave man like what Dinkas are saying will find guns is available to any individual: if they killed your brother, you can use your gun to killed them too. That is the only wayout for South Sudan.

Nundukuru kill dinkas as well as Equatorians, Nuers and any other tribes in the South, Dinkas supposed not to behave this way. Resolutions, reconciliations, forgiveness Dinkas will not implement a single of these rabish as they are calling it. So, and we in Equatoria will never never never believe a gain LRA is behind the killing of our brothers. So, Dinkas create hatred already in the South.

For every Southerner who is a peace loving individual now understand that Dinkaweed is a true program for Dinkas they were planning to settle in Equatoria, and cause havocs, distructions, in the farms of Equatorians by their cows. Now days is different from 70’s; they used to carry woods for their fighting with other cattle owners, now all they carry Guns.

Equatorians will not be disarm by Dinkaweed millitia. Enough is enough for your killings ton our fellow Equatorians.

        To:Emo or mormur.

You need to watch out on how you write on this site. Dinkas are not Janjaweed but your liberators. Stop accusing dinka of not doing anything to your mess in Juba.

Talk to Big Illogic to straighten up your mess in Juba. What action do you want to be done in your area and you are always told not to caloborate with arabs and you always match in and not looking back.
Stop abusing the innocent dinka who freed you from slave.
        watch out dull man.

          To the so called hawa,

I think you are the one who doesn’t know how to write anything useful. Why you don’t appreciate anything good? Omer al Bashir despite all attrocities he did,he remains the only courageous Arab man who manage to sign a self determination document for Southern Sudan - the document that culuminated in CPA you are enjoying now. If late Dr. Garang had congratulated the president Bashir for his courage, who are you to say otherwise Ms fool? I hope you are quiet sure that we as SPLA have attempted many times to liberate Juba, Wau, and Malakal but failed. we only entered these towns through the facts of CPA that al Bashir and Dr. Garang gave us after peaceful negotiation.

I don’t give a damn concern about your self elected as a spokewoman for Jenge, however, Being so ignorant to the extent of saying that you are the lberators of Equatorians is a day time dream. Eqautorians knew ABCs of liberation when you are still walking naked dancing around to your cows. So stop talking about liberation because you know nothing about it. Look at what is happening now, you have messed up every thing. Juba has become a jungle land with no law at place. You have brought even your dying grandparents to the town because you have also messed up in your villages where there is no law but game of killing in cold blood.

Who was collaborating with Arabs during the war? you are so ignorant madam. what do you call people like Aldo Ajo Deng, Martin Malual Arop, George Kongnor, Prof.Moses Machar, Comerade Kerobino, Comerade Arok Thon Arok,Comerade William Nyon, etc...?

You are the ones abusing innocent Dinka who can’t free themselves from your likes. Instead of wasting time on the net, why don’t you utilize your time on educating your ignorant self and bringing your Jenge folks out of their stone age system of life where people kill, rape, and steal public money with impunity??

Mr.Emo,I love you and every other Sudanese, but your comment is very long and carried too much bias on Dinka tribe. The questions are how do you know the Dinka tribesmen are the killers? Did you hear it or you went and investigated the killing? And by the way, have you ever been in Juba? If not how do you know? This is a rumor. We need to be careful when we hear information from within the tribe we belong to. we must believe in what the government of Southern Sudan has reported in the media or news.

To frank, you are so pragmatic to put the challenge Dinka as if Equatorians have clear records in Southern Sudan. I don’t believe what you have written is correct. Why Dinkas attempt to kill people of Equatoria while they had not killed them during the civil war when most of them had refused to join the SPLA and preferred to sniffer them in the forest? That was the right to revenge what the criminals of Equatoria did, but I did mean all Equatoria people but those who thought what the SPLA was doing did not work. Besides of this, the government does not belong to Dinka, it’s belonged to every citizen.

My advice is that let us not finger-point each other without proper evidence. If we routinely use false accusations based on hatred the rift will grow between tribes, which I believe is not appropriate to create division among ourselves. I surely understand that we are not enemies we know our common enemies who denies our citizenships, religion, and tries to destroy our cultures. This is where we can focus on to win the war and take back our country. The Arab minority tribe in Sudan has been oppressed many Sudanese by split us up into enemies of ourselves. By doing so, we finger-point each other for no reason.

When we talk politic I understand that we must be careful not to betray or expose our problems in the south. This means that we open doors to enemies, believe it or not, the Arab Sudanese understand the area they use to weaken us but if we control our problems within us they can not get a chance. I remember when you called the SPLA soldiers militias while you know their records. Let us be careful indeed in dividing ourselves instead of united ourselves.

In general, I love you gentleman and I advise you to stop using division language. You never know you may be a leader in Southern Sudan. This is the stage to develop leadership and relationship among us.

Your writing is very senseless to me, You are hatred. You need to say bye to arabs and you will be forgiven. A real man has to be a man alone, and that is what dinkas are.

        To Moses, and Concellor

Mr. Concellor and his likes,I guess the best place for somebody like you is just to be admitted to the psychiatric hospital for your mental disorder. Late tribalist, nepotismist leader Dr. Garang, and his mentally sick dog Kual Manyang the human killer; control and hundle SPLA as their Bor dinka tribe property: you think we fron other tribes don’t know what happened during this 21 years of SPLA Millitia.

They plan in killing other tribes in the SPLA so that it will scared those tribes, i.e their people not to join the SPLA in order the Dinkaweed projects to succeed when they sign the peace agreement. And this is history.

Please Moses, the millitia administration in GOSS with their thugs in the SPLA, let them identify the [names] of these killers. SPLA security organs on duties that night of 1/1/09, knew by names who are the SPLA soldiers that assigned to that particular location where 4 young Equatorian boys were shot dead. And that Silva Kiir also know who are those Dinkas. If they are not cowards, let them bring out to the public in Juba right now, show the [NAMES] of those thugs culprits and dicks- headed Dinkaweeds.

        Struggle continue.

Mr. Emo, You have taken it personally but this is not the way I look at it. I don’t think that it is fair to use or show your attitudes to us. We have possessed the same attitudes but this is not the right place to reveal it. I believe what we are trying to discuss here is to find out the solution and send it out to our leaders to justify the killings.

This does not do with the Dinka tribe or Equatoria people, it is about those who killed the innocent citizens in Juba. Nobody likes that anyway but as far as you don’t have power I don’t think your writing will solve the problems. It is going to create tension between Dinka and Equatoria tribes.

Besides that I thought I was trying to communicate with an educated person who knows how to look at the crime in different angles. I agree with you that you are fighting for your rights but you need not to generalize the whole Dinka tribe. You and I do not know how the killing occurred and this should make you understand that those who are killed might be criminals.

I know you are not in Southern Sudan you live outside the country and this may tell me that what you are trying to say might not be 100% correct. I will not stop to tell you that what you have written would not justify the situation and will not stop the militias from killing those who collaborate with the Arabs in Juba.
