Sept 17, 2006 (ASMARA) — Eritrean Minister of Defence Gen Sebhat Ephrem held talks with the roving ambassador of Pakistan to the sub-Saharan region, Ahmad Asgar Kadawi, today., the official Shabait website reported.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s readiness to offer its assistance in any infrastructural developments in Eritrea, Ambassador Ahmad Asgar Kadawi extended an invitation to the Eritrean navy for further training scheduled to begin soon in Pakistan.
Subsequent to discussing issues of relevance that include the long standing historical ties between the two nations, both dignitaries agreed to further strengthen the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Eritrea, especially in the domains of military science.
