SPLM candidate for Western Bahr el Ghazal Governor leads preliminary results

By Ngor Arol Garang

April 18, 2010 (WUNROK) — Rizig Zachariah Hassan, an SPLM official nominee contesting gubernatorial post in the state of Western Bahr el Ghazal Bahr el Ghazal is projected as next possible governor of the state.

Results from ten polling centers in Sakadid, Grinti, Wau Naar, Zagolona, Suk Ajaar, Marial Wau, Mapel town, Udichi, Aweil Jadid and Bahr el Ghazal University campus in Wau town, show he is ahead of gubernatorial candidates from other political parties including National Congress Party (NCP) of president Bashir.

In Wau Naar, polling station, Rizig obtained 3780 votes against Steven Musa of the northern ruling NCP with 123 votes. In Marial Wau, he obtained 2871 while his rival received 18 votes. Abdullah Issa, chief polling officer at Bahr el Ghazal University, said that Rizig leads in most stations hence he gives the impression that he will comfortably sweep elections by a large margin.

The other SPLM nominees vying for parliamentary seats in the state, regional and at national level get the majority of votes in the area against other political parties candidates, Abdullah further said.

The landmark multiparty elections in the country closed on Thursday 15, amidst hopes and high expectations among accusations of fraud, irregularities and violence.

Caretaker Governor, Effesio Kon Uguak, as votes sorting and tallying process continues to be conducted in the state, told Sudan Tribune by phone from Wau, that elections in his state were conducted in a peaceful environment. "Elections were conducted under conducive and friendly atmosphere. There was no violence," he said urging residents to remain calm and demonstrate patience throughout the exercise and beyond.

NCP figures in the region have recently accused SPLA of killing members of their party in Raja County but SPLM top officials were quick to dissociate themselves from the killing. Raja County commissioner clarified the shooting saying it had occurred in Timsah between individual SPLA soldiers over domestic dispute. He said it occurred before the elections on Saturday 10, April adding it as criminal act with no connection to SPLA and election.

Governor Uguak has called on all the citizens to keep up the same spirit they have shown during the polls after the formal release of the results by the National Elections Commission (NEC) on Tuesday 20 April 2010.

While commending spirit shown by citizens during elections, he called on political parties and their candidates to recognize and respect outcome of the polls.

Uguak appealed for tolerance since both losers and winners are citizens of the state and deserve to be treated with dignity to boost morale of peace in the region. He called on all citizens to promote peace adding "it is peace which will take us forward".

Great job WBG citizens. You are SPLM loyal state. I said yesterday that the SPLM loyal States( Rumbek, Jonglei, Warrap, WBG, NBG, EBG) will vote 100% to their SPLM candidates so that they take Sout Sudan to the favorable side of river.

      Dinka Boy (northern opposition),

Don’t sound naive and foolish. How can you determine winning using a sample of one station out of thousands of other stations. He may get 100% in one station and only 2% in three other stations, so what is the point here.

News reaching us from states indicate that independent candidates contesting for governorship positions in Jonglei, Upper Nile, Unity, Northern Bahr el Ghazal, Western Equatoria and Central Equatoria are all going to win. They are a head of SPLM candidates.

But SPLM candidates are believed to be a head in parliamentary elections in most constituencies of some of these states.

      Independent/SPLM oyeeeeeee.............

Kuol Manyang is said to be losing to George Athor in Jonglei state and as a result decided to cut off telephone communications so that the bad news for him is not leaked out as the inevitability knocks at his door.......

Only tiny states with small populations like Warrap, WBGS and Lakes states will be won by SPLM gubernatorial candidates.

        Gatwech (aka Oshay),

Your comments are so boring and don’t make sense, get alife please, or go back to Kharoum like your uncle did before. Stop jumping from one topic to another. You sound like a fly jumping from corner to corner looking for food. You and your traitor uncle are doomed in Southern Sudan history. Go get your money from your Master Albashir as your traitor uncle did. Obviously, he came back to the SPLM when he ran out of blood money. You and uncle are disgrace to people of Southern Sudan. Shame on you both.

            Dear Southerners,

This individual called Gatwech Tut is an impostor working for NCP at Sudanese Embassy in Washington DC. He is getting paid by confusing Southerners in this website. Also he is using multiple different names. If you notice this informer, sits around the computer 24/7 to confuse you. Beware about this impostor. Last week, he shamely voted for Albashir at Sudanese Embassy in Washington DC. Again this guy, Gatwech Tut is an impostor working for Sudan (NCP)government. Gatwech, how disappointing!!!

              Kuminyandi (aka Dinka Boy),

Ahahahahahaaa........So you are introducing what you do as an agent in this funny way. It is you who have those many fake identities which you register on this website and I am Tut Gatwech, using my father’s name. You are a ghost in many shadows (Kuminyandi, SPLA, Dinka Boy, Dinka Dominated SPLA and many more.....) and you spend most of your daily time infront of that computer as a paid agent.

                Gatwech (aka Oshay),

I don’t live in Washington DC. You the one who lives there. You even voted for your Master Albashir(and you admitted that) So, who is the imposter here? where and when did you vote for Albashir? Tell me! you can’t hide anymore, because the world is going to find out about your illegal activities against wishes of Southerners. Using impostors names such as Tut or Gatwech is not enough for you mister! your true identity is well known now so there’s no way to hide. I know you are not going to answer my questions as usual. If you are not the impostor working for the NCP in Washington DC, then what you were doing at the Embassy? plus why are you online 24/7 monitoring other people’s comments? You used to opposed Salva and GoSS pretty much. Now suddenly and out of blue, you becaome one of Slava’s biggest supporter. So what a sudden change in your attitude? As a proof, you don’t have principles or morals. You just comments according to what your bosses tell you in Washington. Gatwech, you’re fooling yourself, not us. We know who you are! so don’t even bother to think that we do not know you. What a shame!

There’s nothing wrong with honorable like Athor to win. He is an independent candidate but doesn’t mean he desserted from SPLA/M. He never swayed regardless of condition. In other word, he is not a political whore like those you know that ran to and from Khartuom from time to time. I call them "fair weather friends". The victory in Jonglei state was a victory between the two great leaders. SPLA shall win.

This election and referendum are essential ;therefore, you need to stay away from writing baseless thought when you hear about election or referendum.
I said yesterday that CDR Yasir Arman and Salva Kiir plus SPLM dedicated governors will receive victory in the loyal SPLM States.

The SPLM loyal States are Rumbek, Jonglei, Warrap, NBG, WBG. I thought you still remember that Arman highest vote in Rumbek, Jonglei, now in WBG and NBG. Please, you fool need to understand and store what you are arguing for. If you human being then attempt storing what you said so that you can refer it tomorrow for justification.

I know that the majority of Bentiu are focusing for just independent candidates because because they hate SPLM candidate and that is because they are not SPLM loyal. If you think people are making joke on this net then you have to know that people are not mr traitor.

In contrast, stop pairing Salva Kiir with traitor, ok!

Let me wait and see the day Yasser Aram will be declared the winner and next president using his ’mock’ minority votes in Sudan.

The coward who abruptly withdrew out of fear will NEVER be a president!

      Dinka Boy,

Why do you always need to scatter the unity of South Sudan?
I understand you, it is not your fault but just bcs you were born like that.

Every Southern States are SPLM loyals, you can not seperate one from the others." something tight together can’t be seperated by any human being" says the Bible.

You and i are SPLM, all the ten States are SPLM loyals States, the Independent candidates are SPLM loyal people etc...

If you have dark heart, God will not forgive you just bcs of your foolist misconceptions.
If you are not aware of God’s curse on you, just see what is occuring in amongst your communities that you kill yourselves like animals.
Until you turn off your animal minded segregative reasonings then you will live like us in peace and harmony.

      Good luck devil.
