The new governor today received a warm welcome from the government officials, church leaders, local associations and school children. Further he was also welcomed by a delegation form southern Sudan government led by Michael Makuei Lueth, minister of Legal affairs and constitutional development.

A lot of banners were written by all associations saying "we desperately need you at this particular moment"; "we need peace, harmony, good governance and development."

The governor, who is also a son of Bor, pledged in his speech to disarm all the state.

"By the beginning of coming year, all the civilians will be disarmed, but disarming will start with our brothers who are posing insecurity;" he said. Adding that others counties will fellow immediately because "They misuse guns for killing themselves."

Governor Juuk disclosed that he had talked with Murles leader, Sultan Ismael Kony, who accepted disarmament of Murles.

Manayang Juuk further said that Sudan’s First Vie-President and southern Sudan leader wanted a peaceful disarmament conducted by the allied Murles leadership. Nonetheless, he warned that if Kony fails then forceful disarmament will follow.

"We have troops now and more is needed to come here to collect guns in Bor and other counties," he said.

The new governor said he would tour all the counties of Jonglei to explain the need for peace and stability. "There is no development due to insecurity." Juuk stressed.

Also, he promised to make Jonglei capital, Bor, more beautiful then ever before, "Those roads to counties will be upgraded for business to run smoothly."

The Kuol Manyang Juk was the federal minister of roads and transport.

Kuol Manyang Juk, was sworn in as a Governor of Jonglei State before the First Vice-President of the Republic and President of the Government of Southern Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, on December 17, 2007.

His appointment comes as tangible sanction for the failure of the former governor, Philip Thon Leek to curb cattle raiders and children abduction in the region.

    Dear all,

There is no doubt! The Governor Kuol Manyang will fulfill an empty space in Great Empire State of South-Sudan! The former Minister of Road and Transport of the Sudan, who was elected by President of the GOSS, Salva Kiir Mayardit, and Vice-President of Public of Sudan is a real “key-stone” in will of Southerners. It isn’t only Bor or people of Jong-Kulei State, who like a welcoming Mr. Kuol Manyang in a new position. It is whole Southerners at large in way to devoid such tragic death happened in a short period of time in Bor. His appointment, as a Governor in Jonglei State, is acknowledged by President’s, and cabinet as a “right person at the time, and in right angle.” He wasn’t found playing a chase likely others, who were found playing a chase.

The appointment of Mr. Kuol Manyang de Juk is a delightful as a Governor for his own people. The chronic death in Bor and insecurity on all roads in South-Sudan will dispenses, as likely (Murle militias). Mr. Philip Thon Leek Deng will deserve to work on other part of Government of South-Sudan or within a state. There are so many rooms looking for workers in South-Sudan. Mr. Philip Thon will pit in another position to do another job in our country as whole.

On behalf, of General Kuol Manyang de Juk is a “key element” of our country as whole. Mr. Kuol Manyang de Juk he is a great element, who played a big role than, whoever proclaims in South-Sudan, who played a big role in liberation of the SPLA/M. He is an accountable among the (Heroes in our Movement in South-Sudan).

Well, as historical goes to Mr. Kuol Manyang de Juk, who was a Former Minister of road and export/import in the whole Sudan at large? He is a son of Bor, who was born by blood shield, and elected, as a Minister in “GONU” in two years ago to implement protocols of the South. And he did!

Besides, that Mr. Kuol Manyang, who is a Higher Commander of the SPLA/M, since 1983 up to now he is a great defender. He was a first visionary leader to order Commanders of the SPLA/M on Dec/1987 to lets the “Red-Armies” of the Sudan to flew to exile for studying. In for tells, Mr. Kuol was recited a power and order two commanders of the SPLA/M, one was so-called Mr. Ayuen Mabior, and one was so-called Mawut Woui. Those who were led minors toward Eastern Sudan, until Ethiopia on Dec/1987 for education… The first journey of the Boys was begun in “Great Jonglei- Bor and Great Bhar-EL-Ghazel in 1986- 1987.” It was terrible journey was caused by the government militia raided Southern-Sudan villages, killed the adults and capturing the girls. It was terrified young boys; many flew outside of the village tending cattle, fled at the sight turned as a violent during the war in Sudan.

Mr. Kuol Manyang de Juk is remained in the history of the Sudan, who retied a good job like rest of the commanders of the New-Sudan. His visional of mobilizing Young Red Armies of the Sudan, was turned against him that time. But as far as a thing goes more than 95% Citizens of Bor, and the whole South-Sudan at large press Honoree; Kuol Manyang de Juk, in his long term visional to expose the seeds of the South-Sudan to flew to exile so-called “victims of war/Red-Armies.”

So, Kuol have a long vision like some of other leaders in Sudan, as a great fighter for freedom of will in Sudan. Now, it is about 95% in his Home Town Mading de Bor, who welcomes him in South-Sudan in way to protect them. Bor will not be same again, as according to late Dr. Garang de Mabior, who is a vision...of the Sudan and Man who devoted his in war for all…….. (So, the golden plate brought by Late Dr. Garang de Mabior needed to be share by all……..in Sudan).

      Indeed Mabiei!
I agree with you, Kuol Manyang Juuk is the right person to return a lost peace in Jonglei state, a state full of chaos/wars of no definition resulting to destitute and destabilization is hopely assumed that the new Governor will assert his talents/brilliancy of governorship to accomplish inefficiencies of his people. Beside, insecurity is the main threat but is not the only issue, therefore, our new governor should consider the following, provision of employment opportunities to the school leavers and the inhabitants, health facilities, Educational, commercially the state government should provide loans to our people so that they start a new living compare to the past, and the biggest, the governor should bring all the youth together from all the counties of the state because they are trouble makers of all the previou crisis and if that is not done then the new governor will eventually fail otherwise the state will remain in it original motion.
Thus, we the jubilators of our new governor will harvest the fruits of our happiness, meanwhile His Excellency Kuol Manyang should work this time for the welfare of the state since he has laboured for the whole Sudan during the periods of liberation.

I honor high command comrad Kuol Manyang. I like him to be a governor of Jonglei state so that Jonglei people could get a breathing space for peace. He is the man who stood with rule of law and the needs of others. I trust this guy through out the movement, he don’t give a damb if thug try to override the truth or rule of law. Jonglei state becoming a breeding ground for thugs unlike other states where really enemy we been fighting for dacade are, such as Upper nile state, Unity state, Northern Bahr el ghal state, and Warrap state. Those states I mention are bordering with the really enemy of southern sudan as whole, however, they are peaceful than Jonglei state. I wish God if there would be a posibility of spinning the land of Murle with it people, exchange it with the land where Abiei or Panaruu or Malual gienyang resided is, so that they can probably face the real enemy with no faith. These thugs people would not only reject the peace or break peace, but also embrace the peace when need it. These bordering people are really fighters than Jonglei state thugs who kill people just for food and kidnapping children for their interest. These states I stated above are fighting Arab people since day one Arab came to Sudan for just hatre of being different color and wish to take their land.
Eventually, this is the case to Abiei where the South and north arguing for because of long time Arab wishing to take southern people land. This is a justification case can take life any time it might blow and no body can blame other among oursleves. Jonglei situations is base on idiotic cultures of the area people. They suppose to injoy peace than any other people of southern sudan because they pure Africa people who anticipat the really enemy who plan to divide and conquet our land.

Jonglei is going to enjoyed the peace and development for the first time upon the arrival of Lt Gen Kuol Manyang Juuk as new Governor.
indeed, the state was made a field of Murderers by the notorious community in the state that want to survived through others, this must be brought to and end.
Otherwise if the new Governor failed to rised to these crucials challenges then there will be no need for disarmment.but we all hope a successful disarmment should be started first with Murle.
and the state is going to realised the peace and followed by the development.
we the citizen of Jonglei feel proud of our present but if these things continues we regret and feel ashame in other societies who are living in peace and harmony.
We want to assure the new governor that there is nothing called peaceful disarmment to the wild community but forceful.
One community should not be left out to misbehave like a wild dog,no people are the same if they are not taught then the whole state is going to adopted that life, then we will see what will happen next.
Let hope the will change and adopt the brotherhood life and we shall be living together again.
alot of thanks and congratulation to the new Governor.

    Dear Governor of Jonglei State,

I am highly pleased by your promise and I admire it but not that much as the proverb goes, "Action speaks louder than word".

Since the receipt of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) by the Sudan People Liberation Movement/Army (SPLM/A) and the National Congress Party, (NCP), neither have I seen nor heard of any stability across the State.

Jonglei State is one of the states naturally favoured with conducive climate that paves way to fertile agricultural land, productive pastoralism and natural resources but because of the hostility among the natives we are not at all benefiting from our own land. Meanwhile, the insecurity has greatly increased more than ever since. therefore, the tradegic battles are daily counted.

To all the natives across the state, what are we fighting among ourselves for? I don’t really understand and never ever will I understand it. Please let’s meet a peaceful future.

To his excellency, the governor of Jonglei State, Honourable Kuol Manyang Juuk, the proverb says, "New broom sweeps clean". Is that true? If so, I look forward to seeing a positive change in not later than two months’ time according to your promises. On the top of your agenda is the disarment, I can stress you should use any mean that will help you successful, whether being forceful or peaceful mean.

When you are successful in the disarment, the development follows but still if I critically look into the cause of raiding among the communities, I can suggest that the major factors contributing are poverty and illiteracy, therefore, it is some times possible to cure the disease when knowing the cause. You need to build schools in Pivor county so that the next generation will not be trained with hostility and civilising them will help them know how important the life is.

Peace! peace! peace in Jonglei State.

Mangok Mabiel and So called Africa:

High Jubilation can turn into worst mourn if we don’t want to come down after celebration and choose terms we use and try to exame our political words and phrases carefully and in the way that, match with the interest of all mass population of the entire state.

I hate to say that, stupid people like you Mangok may add fuel into the flame rather than distinguishing it off.How dare are you to level Murle arm civilians as Militias ? do you really know the meaning of the word militia ? well if you could go to your dictionary, I think you may find that, militia is somebody is not well train militarily, if so, how can you always term Murle as militias, do you also called those Bor who own guns as militia or you just want to collect any term that sound little bit sour to the ears of government as pretext of getting enough troops to destroy Murle ?

Let me warn you very strongly, if you Bor need really peace in the region/ state to prevail, the best thing to do is to get ride of your tribalistic ambition before you celebrate. We can not give any single gun to anybody who come to our land with thread and insult, we need whoever come to approach us in respect otherwise, he/she may get the guns he want, after all of us are perish. in other words, you will get them beside our bones.

Kuol Manyang of whom you people are bearing above your heads like umbrella had been in Murle land before, he knows Murle better than you I guess. And I want him to take my word, Mr. Kuol, you need to approach Murle through their leadership as you said without mixing it with threat or military force, because military aggression may turn Bor into blood pool rather than clean headquarter as you put it.

We only listen to the governor who forget the past, treat every citizen of Jongolei equally and respect the lives of all, we don’t listen to anybody who want to kill us all to finish.

We can give all our guns only if we know that, same guns we turn in will not be use tomorrow against us, so kuol, you need to be very careful from those tribalistic minds like Mangok becuase their dirty ambition will not bring peace but chronic and worst disaster to the state.

Lastly, I want to inform Bor community that, Murle don’t know who Kuol Manyang is, so you don’t want to finish your salvas by decieving yourselves that kuol will do great if you fuel him with your ill advice, because he is not a bomb, all he can do is to lead you and we still face you just like last month.

If you need peace, come with pure peace initiative and don’t guise it with false ploys.

    God bless.

You said last month that the recent raid was bad and you did not support it, but it is now clear that you supported it because you said now that you will repeat it again any time your people want more cattle. That will not be tolerated by anybody who loves peace.
Looking at your words above, it is now obvious that you are opposing the disarmament of your tribe. Your tribe is like any other tribe and needs to be disarmed. What is special about your people?
Beware that the days of looting are about to be over! And by the way, what more do you want your people to loot/raid/abduct?

ANYUAK, NUER and BOR civilians are completely terrorized by Murle but this does not mean that they can not fight back fiercely to pay your people in their own coins. The people, especially in BOR are respecting the law but they will not continue to do so if the government does not intervene to pacify Murle. The day BOR agrees unanimously to fight Murle will remain as a legend which your tribe will remember forever. Now your people have already started running towards the Ethiopian border before nobody in BOR is in your village yet. What will happen if BOR set their feet in those horrible God forsaken villages? If BOR comes there, I think you guys will find yourselves in SOMALIA.

Stop intimidating soldiers like me by saying that you will turn BOR TOWN into a blood pool. If you do that, then people like me will not just sit and wait to be killed. I will stand up to fight your thieves with or with out government orders because I reserve the right to defend my own life. When your people succeed by dragging people like me into the fight then every village including PIBOR will be reduced to ashes and at the end it will be declared as the village of the dead and there your guns will be collected laying alongside your bones which seems to be your objective up there. I don’t know what good it will do for you when your guns get collected laying alongside your bones.
Choose peace voluntarily or you will be made to accept it. Your people are causing the greatest insecurity to Jonglei and to the whole south Sudan indirectly. And absence of peace in Jonglei means no peace in the South.(i.e. no CPA)

I as well as any peace loving person in BOR does not benefit from the death of any fellow Southerner including MURLE. So preach peace, tell your people to grow crops so that they don’t have to rely on cattle meat only and after that they will have enough food for the seasons or the whole year round. Open schools, churches(or mosques if you want them) and hospitals and the government will help. This is the way otherwise anarchy will rule.
Merry Christmas to you and your people.

      Mr. James;

I really appreciate comments from people like you. First,It shows me that South Sudan nationalism is long way down the horizon. Secondly, it help inform people like me and others that are interested in South Sudan issues that there are dangerous minds out there, people that will do anything to break the backbone of South Sudan.

People are jubilant about the inauguration of Kuol Manyang Juuk NOT because he is a Dinka, nor are they so because he believes in the cracking down and extermination of the Murle, or any other Dinka rival ethnicity. We, as peace-loving citizens of Jonglei and South Sudan, are jubilant because we see future in Kuol Manyang. We know that Kuol was a very influenctial and powerful leader in the SPLM and we are optimistic that he will do his duty to secure security in the whole state of Jonglei.

By your respond, I am puzzled as to whether you are supporting the Murle "militias" or that you are just another anti-peace Southern Sudanese.I say this because at some points you support the idea of disarmamant and later on you boast the idea that the Murle "militias" are successful attacking and murdering innocent Bor civilians, like we saw in the last few months.

As citizens of Jonglei it would be in anybody’s interest to promote the security of the whole State. Jonglei citizens, like you, should not tribalize the issue and lend support to their respect ethnic affiliations. Even though Kuol Manyang is a Dinka, the Dinka that have commented, you can see, are obviously not plotting a reprisal attack on the Murle. What they want,as exemplified by their jubilation on the coming of Kuol, is peace, harmony, and reconciliation. Just like Gov. Kuol, every Jonglei citizens should demand the disarmamant of the whole state of Jonglei.

People like you, the anti-security advocates, are not going to like this idea of disarmamant. They want the guns so they can go to the Dinkaland or the Murleland and raid their cattle. This should not be tolerated. Because these small conflicts fuel tribal disunity. And, as we all know, we can not achieve our goal of self-determination when we do not have South Sudan nationalism.

I know the typical Murle or Dinka do not support these bandits that raid innocent civilians. From the news that I have been getting from this site, the Murle have came to area near Bor and killed young men and raid their cattles. And more often than not, these Murle "militias" have kidnapped young children. I do not know if there are such acts of randon killings and kidnappings done in Murle by Dinka " militias", but they are, I can tell you, are true acts of barbarism and savagery. As people who have suffered all these years under the Khartoum goverments, we should not sit around and let our people do such hineous acts to themselves. And most importantly, we have to restrain ourselves from falling into and instigating such tribal conflicts.

The Dinka Bor( or the Dinka as a whole) have no history of animosity toward the Murle, nor do the Murle have a deep-rooted animosity toward the Dinka. The little hatred that has developed between these two groups is the one being instigated by these "militias" and people like you, James, who have hatred toward the Dinka and the peaceful co-existance of all the Southern Sudanese.

As exemplified by recent attacks, it is obious that Dinka Bor have been on the worse end of these Dinka-Murle conflict. The Murle "militias" came in the Dinka interior and attacked; killing and kidnapping people. So, for the Dinka, the coming of Kuol Manynag does not neccessarily symbolize the ushering of a counter-attack on the Murle. Instead, The Dinka see someone that can protect them from the Murle "militias".

Likewise, to the Murle, the coming of Kuol should be celebrated. Unlike the former Governor, who was deemed incompetent and desperately unable to bring security to Jonglei, Kuol promises to crack down on the these "militias"( whether Dinka or Murle). The Murle should see in Kuol someone that will restrain the Dinka from attacking the Murle, whether be it counter-attack or preemptive. And the only way to guarantee such provisions of security in the state of Jonglei is for the administration of that state to disarm every citizen that bears arms.

Unless one benefits from these Dinka-Murle cattle raidings, there is no reason to not be happy with Kuol’s inauguration. He symolizes hope, security, and development for the whole state. Peace-loving Southern Sudanese should welcome him.

      Dear Mr. James James,

At the end of your comment, is the phrase, "God blesses", what do you mean? Is it really God or god? Are you actually called James? Have you really been baptised? You need to explain it more for better christians to understand it. For me, You would have been otherwise baptised in the name of Konyi or Mohamed if you like the word baptism. If you may mean God, I should advise you that God is a PEACE-LOVING creator of the universe. Let me transfer your mind from DEVIL to BIBLICAL thought, in the bible, two of the ten commandments say, "LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF", and "DON’T KILL" We should not joke around with God ’s name but the most important thing is to do the right thing he wants us to.

How old are you? I hope you are getting older enough that you will not be influencing negatively the younger generation for a long time. Like your uncle Ismael Konyi, you support the war with no agendum. If you could strench your mind back to the cause of civil war between the SPLM/A and the former NIF regime currently NCP, you could realise that the SPLM/A fought for “SELF DETERMINATION”, I put it in quote that you may have a clear look.

I am sorry to outline that the two main reason why Murle terrorise the state base on their pastoral way of life and illiteracy. In fact they are not cultivators, am I wrong James? However, they depend on cattles and this is one of the reasons behind their raiding. If that is the case, they should be trained how to depend on different ways of life, such as cultivation, fishing, etc. They are also illiterate, sincerely 99% of Murle are illiterate. For example I can see only James on the net, nobody else. This is one of the factors that fill up their minds with terror acts. They don’t understand the importance of life, if that also the case, we should educate them, civilise them that the next generation will not be trained with activities base on terror, raiding, etc. Truely, Murle will be the last community to civilse in sudan. Another factor that contribute to their hostiliy is lack of medical centres and facilities. How does this factor contribute to the hostility of Murle? The entire community is suffering from siphlis that leave the couples barrel, unable to bear child. Instead of appealing or calling for medical help, they turn into abduction of children from Bor, Nuer and Anyuak. Therefore, they should also be supplied with medical facilities to improve this situation.

Mr. James, Murle has to be disarmed whether being peaceful or forceful mean, any way possible. Your arms or guns are too dangerous just like Iraqi biological weapons when Mr. Bush had suspect over that. you misuse the arms.

The newly appointed governor of Jonglei State Honourable Mr. Kuol Manyang is a serious man and he meant what he said.

The disarment has to be successful.

The definition of millitia is some one holding illegal arms for raiding, killing, kidnapping of fellow human being, i hope you will correct yourself. Beside do you really think that Mulres are too difficult to be handled? a backwarded tribe like Murle that do not forsee the future of their young ones and claiming to be radicals instead of creating peaceful coexistence with their neighbours, iam sorry to say that you are the only one who is semi educated and absolutely foolish/sycophant, Little Murle between two big tribes and one big community that’s Anyuak,Nuer and Dinka Bor.Foolish James do you think Murle is stronger than common enemy Arab? I don’t believe wether you are really in Pibor and have fought a one day battle, and mind you the issue of Murle is a two days issue, so do not pretend that you can resist for long meanwhile, you will be disarmed by any all means and let me not laugh at you when you are disarmed, stop filling your mouth with alots of barbaric utters.
Lastly your letter is not pleasing even to the fellow Southerners because it doesnot carry any peaceful sentence, teach your people the meaning of peace, civilization, modernization and prosperity, Mr James how long will Murle be like Karamojongs of Eastern Uganda? Change your way of living before you could all perish otherwise South Sudan can do with out Murle.

      Stupid Murle, boyish James’
You are really stupid and mad by the way,how can you be proud of the hostile of murle militias and you want to denied that the are not Maliltia.?
How do you called Sultan Ismaiel or yourself? Murle community as a tribe was been agaist the total freedom of the Southerners that is why many inteluctuals lost thier lives in the hand of murle malitias inside and in the movement.
God was suppose to punished Murle like Sohdom and ghamora.
they were created to the world by mistake and they need to be uprooted completely so that there will be no more murle existing.
Jonglei will not stabilised if murle are not wept out for good.
People Like James should be deal with before the become more dangerious.
It would have been better if Stupid James was not born or die at birth.
You are really a son of devil and Lusafer.
But God know when he is going to take you away among us so that the State would enjoy peace once again.
Mr James there will be a state youth conference is due to take place in Bor town and you are invited,so come home if you are really aman.
you will go to hell at once.
If the goverment does not solved this issue of murle then we are capable to get rid of them with no minute.
we the Bor people are really blessed with the talent of leadership and that is why we ignored the issue of murle but now they are going face the consequences.
Murle will not be seen any more.
what is murle if they are all finshed so that the state enjoy peace and development.
am even thinking that James is not really a murle by birth as there is permanent infertility,so you may be an abducted child either from Nuer,Bor or Anyuak, because there is no educated person among murle like you,so don’t talk much, you will be cursed for good.
      go to hell.

      My dear colleagues,

I have been following this defensive letters & hogwash mails from James I try to reason and identify the nickname James. I came to said to myself that this guy is not a first class citizen of this country for he did not felt sorry of insecurity going around the South Sudan’s greatest state.

I came to realize that the ruthless james is a foreigner! Who claim to forge the citizenship for seek of jobs in Sudan believe me, in other word he is a mercenary from the ruthless and maniac community.

James, I thought you should be unfair to be angry when first class citizen are uttering & curse the insecurity in the state, well if you claim to be murleian allow me say that you Studied in east Africa where people enjoy being peaceful, loving and civilized I mean why don’t you take a ride to your jungle shelters village and advocate the act of being civilized, living in a peaceful environment. And show them how you become after escaping being grazing boy and follow monjang-Education seekers (Dinkas) where you get your so call education the way you call yourself. I mean this is a website not a telephone line, can you stopped it right away because bill gate(computer designer) is tracking you and will tell where you are, computer wizard go ahead and do your work.

In that case, we will not hesitate to accorded trust and support to our Hon. Kuol, to make good news come along rather than push-push impatient which might be a swift-boat-attack to developments in Jonglei state, as my colleague said.

Deng Abuk, you don’t need to be sorry or appreciate those hogwash mails and threat it really bored me when you try to deny yourself of being a Jonglei citizen.
You fought a civil war in the name of New Sudan and you won, South Sudan is a county with one state ‘’SPLM’’ as a South Sudan citizen you are watch dog and utter for any tarnish rendered to the state, keep it up.

May God and blood of the innocent deceased condemn you James?

      Mind your head.

The new governor of Jonglei state Hon Kuol Manyang Juuk the most significant and prominent leader with people best attention in his heart will keep striking the hope of masses in the state at popular site of his known magic by using focus, predictable and revised strategies that works his best preferences. He is a man who is all most nick name as "perfect man"because his policies do not allow and condone mistakes.

When he said "I will not allow lawlessness, cattle raiding, idleness and invasion of foreign areas by others from now onwards, civilians have no right to hold guns and Bor town will be different comes next summer",he asserted all these comments to allow necessary space between response and action. There is no temptation for ignorance and excuse of not knowing what he mean because he will not fail to implement what he says.

This unique and distinguishing character struck the the heart of people in Jonglei state and made every citizen optimistic with instrumental passion that with Hon Kuol Manyang, insecurity in Jonglei state will chart a new peaceful course come 2008.

So what prediction topped his agenda if he is the hero of achievable possibilities we know? Many of us might run into exaggerated listings of outstanding issues that the state had faced for instance insecurity, roads, protecting environment(laws),pricing of plots, certifiable surveying and mapping of the Jonglei capital, reconciliation of state communities, creation of jobs, pooling of investors to Jonglei, equal schools(scholarships to our students) and health institutions are expected to be done by the new governor of Jonglei state. However, there are two predictable outcomes from all these expectations;time and equality.

So if i may ask,how long do these have to be accomplished? How equitable will the resources be allocated and how fair will the policies work? There is one thing that is central in molding successes from this new administration and that is time.We should be patient to allow enough time for the proposed strategies and policies to work their full realization. We are all familiar with Hon Kuol Manyang Juuk as the first rated general of all time but, he is not a miracle worker to solve all problems over night in Jonglei state.

Inasmuch as we don’t per sue agendas that are divisive, tribal and base on political perspective, there will be always footprint of success and change in the new leadership. If we allow mistrust to invest in our best patriotic coexistence, then it will be hard to build the shattered dreams among various communities of Jonglei state.

The appointment of Kuol Manyang to be the new Jonglei state governor is unstable measurement of leadership test in his own homeland. One may be bothered by what test of leadership i am referring to or what exactly do i mean? Well the tests i am talking about if i may be more precise are "tribalism" and "equitable developments" in all part of Jonglei state.

"In biblical point of view, there is one thing a bishop should say to another bishop:that i am a sinner and Christ is the great Savior" There is no neutrality when it comes to harmful comments and misinterpretation of distinctive personalities of our leaders in regard to where a leader come from in various parts of jonglei state. In every society there is always a finger pointing at a certain direction in the interest of blaming and worthless politicking.

If we have a moment in future to expect progress in the state, then we should always admit that there are ways in which anything could go wrong than going right because we have seen many plans failed because the law of perfection does not always holds.
Hon Kuol Manyang should be accorded our best trust and support to make good news come along rather than push-push impatient which might be a swift-boat-attack to developments in Jonglei state.I am optimistic that Jonglei state under his leadership will be a "city that gets no sleep." He had serves with whatever capacity we deem most and his gregarious personality will be received with leaping hearts of tremendous successes.

    My turn,

    My opinion.

I believe, Jonglei people will gain peace after a long and continous cattle raid which overwhelm our people in Jonglei State.

Mr. Kuol Manyang, a man with justice and a just commander of SPLA during the struggle will bring peace and security in the Jonglei state. We people in the entire Sudan and South Sudan in particular need peace. But there are people with evil spirit like Ismail Kony, a betrayal and a money loved person wanted South Sudan to perished like nothing.

Murle people are the people of South Sudan like any other tribes in the country as well as Bor people. But the fact is, there are people who wanted South Sudan to be look guilty of all sort of Killings, corruption, and mismanagement to gain political objective and show to the World that people of South Sudan are not active to govern themselves. Khartoum is behind all atrocities in Sudan both, Western, Eastern, South, and the Center. Khartoum has his own people in these areas to play its roles unknowingly. Murle Ambush Buses on the way to Bor and Kill many compatriots mean something. It is not murle’s opinion, but influenced to do so by Khartoum and its supporters inside the South.
Kuol Manyang will take action against imperialist like Ismail Kony and those with two hearts facing many directions and those who are causing havoc in Jonglei state. We like Mr. New Governor to act with Impartiality and to be neutral not favoring one side. You talked of Disarmament during your welcoming, I advised you to disarm Kony first before advancing to the community level.

My special thanks goes to the first vice President of the Republic and President of South Sudan His Excellency, the commander-in-chief, Lt.General Salva Kiir Mayar for taking initiative act to appoint Mr. Kuol Manyang as the Governor of Jonglei state to restore peace and secuirty as well as State Development.

Last Year 2006, Kiir appointed Daniel Awet Akot as Governor of Lakes state and to suppress the escalation crisis in the Lakes state. Those two Official were deposed from their big positions and brought back to minor positions.

This is a confidentiality from Kiir to his Subordinates comrad to go back and restore peace and Security in the States. Let’s stand behind our leaders and the president in particular to appoint right people in a right position like what he has done to these two. Money is nothing but to you bring peace and harmony to your people is a great thing than love of money. MAY GOD BLESS OUR BELOVED COUNTRY!

    Bol Nul:

Did you ask that question to John Garang who killed all our politician before his God plan death ?

About Rebecca Nyandeng, Philip Thon and other from Bor with Bibles together with knives for killings
What do you really mean by asking me such kind of silly question, if you don’t want truth, you will deal with truth,

These days we don’t want politics and we don’t want deceiptions, all we admit into our calender now is pure truth, we know Bor want Murle to be disarmed before they come and loot Murle cows and this agenda had surfaced up before CPA,
So advice you governor to come with genuine peace or otherwise you will not get any tangible result.

Remember also thats, your trick has expired 10 years ago.

Now we will deal with either truth or bullet that is all. BN GOSS IS NOT BOR.

        Dear James,

I read you article and said gosh to myself.

Ruthless James how dare you say ‘’ GOSS is not Bor’’ that what you thinks from your bad lineage, let me disclose to you in case you don’t know that ‘’Goss’’ is the third son of SPLA, you know what I mean, first born is OLS operation lifeline Sudan that allow asylum (you) for exile to eradicate people like you from poverty, and claim education. Second son is the SPLM if you may happen to be an SPLM or NCP mercenary. Be reminded that Africa’s custom is to call a child to the father not MOTHER,

I agree with my colleague Magai who outlined that there is a dangerous mind out there.
This is true not only dangerous but dirty mind as well,

My fellow Borian I ‘m still sheeting secret tears of sorrow for Dr. John who left without saying farewell to the People of South Sudan and Sudan at large. But God knows why. And what it’s mean to loose him.

By the way Mr. Aguek, not all what is said in the parliamen, one should agree with, and not all what is said is good for the development and safety of our country. Do you think approching somebody who is not educated or civilized by force is a good idea??? And do you think disarming the tribes is the best solution for peace??? Remember that, in the old ages people are not using guns for attacking. And the more pressure your are giving the most you will get, and it will hit you first. Example, when Beshir used pressure against Kiir, Kiir removed his people from the north, and when he cools down, Kiir returned to the north. We are not all armies to accept harsh leaders and orders. life is not ruling, but leading. I am not a politician, but one has to understand how to make sense, and how to lead. By the way I appreciated your comment about me. victorianaculya@yahoo.com

Mr. Den. O or just Deng:

You try to explain something that don’t possess any positive clue, let me agree some how that, GOSS is a third son of SPLA as you naively put it, but wait a minute, is SPLA who the father of GOSS Bor then ?

Please tilt your ears here homy, don’t try to make shameful mistake that, I am one of those coward or money driven fellows who didn’t fight during north south war, I am a good combatant who fought partriotically for the freedom of my people includes Bor nd Murle. But what send my mind away to the wildness is the fact that, most of you want to take this opportunity of peace (CPA) and use it for underminding other tribes, we went to bushe for the cause of freedom for all. We did not go to bushe for coaching our muscle against some of our own brothers and sisters.

Mr. Den O I don’t want to see anybody in an attempt of trying to name SPLA as his, that could be very empty and long neck falsihood.

You guys too need to work on something, I see forgivness is the only solution to bring us back into permenant peace again.

We Murle are good in forgiveness, remember, we lost all our best marksmen like Rumit, Matungbor, Logocho Nyurut, etc through Bor wars, and we still try to forget all these good guys for us to come together as peaceful neighbours, but you people of Bor don’t want peace, all you want is to see Murle out of the world.

For reall there are dangerous thousands of minds out there within Bor community and some of the best examples are elements like you and magai or Manyok.

    Please accept change.

    God bless.

Mr James i can see your mind is coming back to it’s senses though giggling, i think you need peace likewise everyy body but would you mind to go home (Pibor) and get organize so that you present your complains to our new Governor during his visit so that he could arrange for a youth conference? Because this air debate will not help our people since we debators are not part of the game down there, i mean iam not part of it unless you. And i conquor with you that let’s initiate peace and forget a bout the past but you are making one mistake by mentioning your lost fellowmen moreover we are all loosers.
