Rumbek has three centres for examination were attended by 531 students. The examination period will continue until 9 April, 2011.

Speaking during the opening of the exam period, Lakes state governor Chol Tong Mayay expressed confidence that Rumbek students will achieve high scores in the examination. He offered free scholarships to South Sudanese universities to students who achieve the best results.

Tong said “my message is that they should go to exam with calm brain so that are able to concentrate, the other is that they have to observe respect – they are lucky to be the last students sitting the Sudan School certificate and most of them will be accepted in a South Sudanese university”.

    Bravo Governor Mayay,
The courageous words you gave the 2011 candidates are more than material gift to them. May Almighty God hear you and give them better understanding of questions and answer them according to the examiners’ expectation.

This year’s candidates are the brightest and I am grateful that they will all pass with flying colours and get governor Chol scholarship as he has promised.

    Wish u Success!
