Nyadak noted that there is not enough representation for women in the South Sudanese government.

The Lakes state advisor for gender and human rights, Adak Costa Mapuor, urged South Sudanese women to demand their rights are duly considered in the new constitution, before the review process is completed.

Costa also called for a “gender sensitive” constitution which tackles the issues of property ownership and marriageable age for women - both inadaquetly dealt with in the interim constitution.

On Wednesday a South Sudanese women’s alliance said the National Constitution Review Commission (NCRC) did not fully represent their interests.

They also called for greater involvement for women in the democratic process of South Sudan.

I said that when president introduce his cabinet last year nobody would like to talk about it. Women of south Sudan have a power to change the government of south Sudan in next election, women of south Sudan have been treated like second class citizen in their country when they are the one vote 67% for independent of south Sudan. Our women has have been beaten raped sole like Slav left alone-

With children there is no law to protect their right, there for I will fight for the right of women in south Sudan until they will lead the country. If they vote for new generation in next election nobody will lead that country again than our women. Norway is the best country and richest one because of power women have. Child come first women pet than man, new generation will bring that kind of law

I think it’s good to talk about the case of gender equality. In some countries women are compared with men, but in South Sudan they are given a lest chance due to their lack of being educated. I can not blame our gov’t of giving them 25% this 25% are enough since the number of women who are educated ’re lest then 25%.when they increase, the gov’t ’ll add.

Women are human being they must be treated as well as men. they should be given equal right in every government institutions not only 25% maybe 50%. But let women adjust themselves to aviod randoms move of more women from house to house. make sure that in the coming years there be no homeless woman or woman who have no huuusband should be elected as a representive of women in government.

I agree with you the ways to live is not only to be governmental employee, but also to be business person either to be aman or awomen.to give aqual right like men, does not mean that they can occupy the governmental seats like what we are thinking, but to stays to what ever necessary for the life.
