Col Joseph Bakosoro involved in car crash in Juba

By Richard Ruati

February 3, 2010 – (JUBA) – Western Equatoria Independent Candidate Col Joseph Bakosoro survived a fatal car accident early Wednesday morning in Juba.

There were two cars involved in the crash and the other persons in the car survived too.

Col Bakosoro was stable after treatment of pain on Wednesday afternoon, and his disclosed pains were not considered life threatening, but his exact condition is known to be okay.

Eye witness said Col. Joseph Bakosoro was involved in a car accident this morning while taking his sick father to Juba Teaching Hospital.

Adel Sandrai (eye witness) said “I went to see him in the hospital and the X-Ray results indicates that he did not sustain any injury though he had severe pain in his left shoulder.

A car ran into Col. Bakosoro’s car while his was driving on the road near Home and Away. The other car was joining the same road but for what good reason the car that hit his car was at a high speed.

Speaking from his recuperation bed at his residence in Juba, Col Bakosoro said, “I am okay now, the accident is normal accident, I urge all comrades not to speculate any foul play or to have grudge with any body. The driver who knocked is in a good condition and I have forgiven him.”

Officials from GOSS Ministry of Interior say, Juba City accounts for ten car accidents on daily basis, and there are reports of lack of driving knowledge from private car owners in Juba, the scenario is contributing to numerous car accidents.

Col Bakosoro as already secured a spot at the 2010 General Elections, and will face Jemma Nunu Kumba, the incumbent governor of Western Equatoria State.

It is understood that, Col Bakosoro has received statewide sympathy from Western Equatoria citizens who expressed grief with the man here in WES expect to ascend to WES’s top job in the April Elections.

“Let us all wish our comrade a quick recovery since we are going to enter in a very crucial stage of the general elections in the next few days, one of the sympathizers said.

Bakosoro is the next governer in WES.

Telling somebody that,he or she is sick(HIVs) positive is a crime and you should be taken to court for deformation and assecination of an individual charactor .

Hey Grader, what do you know about journalism? This particular journalist is writing news headline related to a powerpolitical figure, in fact the headline could have been Col Bakosor survives assissenation attempt - don’t you think those of us in WES have only Col Bakosoro as the only hope?

You people leave WES only for WES people, we never comment on your states, why our state. We are many who read Studan Tribune, but we don’t complain for others.

Dear Jealous citizen of Western Equatoria,

What do you mean leave WES to the people of WES alone? Your statement is based on regional or states segregation. What further makes your statement sounds baseless is your comment that "we never comment on your states why our state"?. My advice to you is that, any southerner, regardless of his or her state is entitle to have a say in the affairs of all ten states in Southern Sudan. If you don’t want to comment on south Sudan issues concerning other states other than your state then you are highly welcome. Your right as an individuals should be respected. However, Preventing others from commenting on vital issues in relation to Western Equatoria State because you happen to be a citizen of that particular states is unacceptable or because they are none-citizens of Western Equatoria is not right at all.

In WES,no one support folse ideas.

Gentle man, you have truelly gone off your mind and squeezed your structure in a narrow hole. In the present world, HIV/AIDS status is normal just like one suffering from any disease. With full mind about HIV, surely it is not his falt to be seropositive person to HIV. I know that you said this under fear because he will be the leader to come for the people of WES. HIV/AIDS doesn’t care who you are, but can infect anybody.
However, I can’t justify what evidence you have to convince the readers of your message that you are negative to this virus.
I mercifully encourage you to go to school to learn discipline and moral act so that you shall contribute to the fight against Stigmazation in your community.

I know that guy, though he does not know me, I can still fight for him - tell me which English in this particular news is broken English? Or today is the only time we are reading from Ruati - or all the errors of Sudan Tribune are attributed to Ruati?

My brother, this boy Ruati is illiterate he only finished primary school in Mboki (Central Africa Republic) in a refuge camp since then he has never seen any black board that is why he goes on writing all these things that he can not even explain. He copies what are in other forums and puts them together and say is an article. he has no recognized certificate in journalism and he identifies himself with journalists and those who can give him money. as you have said we are waiting to see him behind bars one day. he was dismissed from being the Private secretary of Governor of WES because he wrote that ALL WES is supporting the arrest of Bashir. this was a boy who was defending the Governor who has become her enemy today.
we wait and see he is a disgrace to journalism in Sudan.

    Dear Joseph,

The Almighty God will heal you very very quickly enough as we all wishing you speed recovering from this plan full an accident and get hell out of their corrupt bigest Ass-holes leadership. The shits had tried to kill you, you see, fuck them. We all know that, the failed SPLM Party leaders such as Mr. Pagan Amum and Mr. Salva Kir will try to kill anyone and everyone who disagreed with their unwanted selections of its running candidates or candidates whom are running against them.

That why they have tried to prevent Dr. Lam Akol from coming to South Sudan because he has disagreed with corrupted System that they have inflicted in the South. Dr. Lam was only surprised their bigest Ass-holes when visited Juba, South Sudan week ago to submit his GOSS candidacy application to NEC. They will fail before the Almighty God, period.

You are the one among outstanding Heroes who had fought to their toes and you deserve to lead that wonderful WES. Do not look back base on the SPLM killings threats. The God knows for sure nothing wrong will happen to any of you who are trying to bring our democratic transformations into reality.

I wish you speed recover to move on and reform the deform system in South Sudan where Primitive President bought the Southerners’ voters with Cars and Hard Currency while the South Sudan is in the verging of collapsing financially due to bad governances. Its Primitive President is only daring to loot resources and carrying caskets full with blood monies to Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia and everywhere else in the world.

I am asking Almighty God to take them where they are belonging and put the real leaders in the charge of South Sudan to reach their final destination without retreat.

    With the wishes I am
