Ansar al-Suna Ansar al-Suna
Ansar al-Suna is the mainstream Sudanese movement of Salafi Islam, a branch of Sunni Islam.
Members of the Ansar Al-Suna group adhere to a textual interpretation of Islam.
They see some practices of Sufi groups such as idolatry and celebrating the prophet’s birthday as heresy.
The head of Ansar al-Suna in Sudan is Abu Zaid Mohamed Hamza.
